Good game. A fantastic upgrade on the original.
Needs a secondary weapon, and some shooting sounds.
Needs other weapons too, and the ability to select between them.
The "instant hit" enemies suck.

another copy of asteroids.
AND geometry wars at the same time.
executed ok, i kinda wish the mouse was an option for movement. and auto shooting.
or just like customizable options.
ok. 3/5.

Simple, brainless fun. Not much more to see after the first few levels. It's nothing different than stuff I've played before but points for not being retarded.

After a mention of Grid Wars on another game I went and looked it up, first on Kong (which its not, but found this) and after playing Grid Wars, this THIS game is NOT a Grid Wars clone, not even close. Who tagged it as such?

Slow easy and dull. I was wondering if it was even possible to die. So I tried to run out my remaining lives. Which took another five minutes because it is tough to die even when trying. All enemies show up in a few levels, and spawn rates or enemy speeds never increase. *yawn* Gets a 2 for being pretty and working right.

Pleasant, mindless fun. But at 1.2 million points and 11 lives left, I am bored to tears. Did I miss an advanced mode? Either kill me off or let me win. Still, well-made and engaging enough to keep me hooked for an hour. :-)

needs a boss or something special it gets boring after a while i was never getting killed so some harder enemys would be nice other then that 4/5 good game.

I agree with Jestertrek, the blue triangles are unfair, you get 4 of them spawning at once and you can't kill them all before they start zapping you. They never miss, though I am unsure of how much damage they do, but still.
Also, boss level or something needed.
Farther upgrades of the side-shot and more upgrades to the forward shot, once I had 5, I wanted more; farther shooting, more shots, faster shots, more damage, pass-though...something.

People remember Asteroids for having lousy controls, so I'm not sure why you'd want to PRESERVE them here. You seem to have made it even worse by slowing everything down to a crawl, turning and moving. Then you've made it incredibly easy.
The game is pretty but I've got nothing else nice to say. 1/5

Very solid game! The blue triangles are a little unfair, and it's not entirely clear what some of the upgrades do. It also needs some boss levels to break up the monotony -- once you've experienced all the types of bad guys, the game threatens to get repetitive and the replay value is a little low. Still, the controls are perfect, the graphics are great fun, and the game-play is great! Overall, a great game! 4/5.

few things to say here mate
one would be the controls... why turn if it's possible in the age of geo wars to go any diresction no turns needed. and why can't i fire at my mouse with my mouse? it doesn't make sense that in a day of excellent flash gaming. we have the atari going online.

Not bad, a decent implementation of the Asteroids style game. The music is fairly subtle a definite plus.
Reminds me a little of the days of Atari, only with better graphics and you can control yourself better :P 4/5

nice, but ... it SUCKS if you get unlucky with first 5-10 powerups.
You have to keep refreshing the page and restarting from scratch until you get enough good powerups :(.
