Coming back and playing this game two years later I get the hard badge second try, not really knowing what I was doing.... Past me was a noob.

A horrible bug: I was going at 100 kmh, and then suddenly, something happened (I didn't miss a gate) and my speed was reduced to 40. I lost my multiplier, which was around 70.

@Gestr You should add that jumps do not reset your multiplier when you stay on screen when performing them. So eat some oranges and you will be K. : >

Good way to reach 70 kmh is to just wait for a few tunnels; it takes patience more than anything else, so just try to stay alive; tricks and what not are good if you can nail them but if you don't think you're skilled enough for that just wait until you get two or three tunnels in quick succession and that should boost you right up to 70 kmh or so.

Easy way to get the hard badge: Buzz the Tower. That means that you go through gates while in mid-air, practicing this can really help get the badge and have a more enjoyable little ski trip altogether.

aww that sucks i did a big jump above the screen then theres to gaps right beside each other and i come back landing right in the middle of the gap :(

regularly play the game, but it feels like some gates combo are almost impossible (down, top high, down again, at "full" speed it's only luck)

absolutely impossible and frustrating to have to hold my mouse button down the entire time while wiggling just to get up to 40 kmh and then die on a jump section

Why is it that I'm sometimes riding like hell and there's just some small glitch in my otherwise smooth skiing and suddenly my multiplier drops from 68 to 1?
Definitely a great game, but illogical things like that drive me nuts and they certainly take away from an otherwise great game.

Ok, so last year when this game came out I spent 2 hours trying to get the stupid medium badge and don't. I try now and within 2 minutes I get it without trying. wot.

1. Be ready to react to red crosses. Calmly choose to jump over or slide under them.
2. If you get awkward gate positions at high speeds, simply jump. Rinse and repeat; a lot of time is spent jumping when you get 80+ multipliers.
3. Commit to a strategy. If your strat is to jump in front of the gates until you hit a multiplier of 50, then do that. If your strat is to keep jumping and practice high-speed jump combos, then do that. Stick with whatever you choose.

dont you hate it when you moving really fast, and suddenly a block comes from nowhere, and in half a second you're dead? i mean, seriously, it reads 500 and half a second later, you're dead.

This game is cool,good and fun but the best part is that is not violent -.- because everyone likes violence because they are ''fun'' no they are just addicting ,whyle this game is perfect for them and they only want more violence,..All gamers should know this game.

My only flaw with this game is that the headphones fly off, because I actually like Speed Metal Messiah. A lot. Other than that, it's nice and simple, a fun game with a nice concept.

Netbook=fail at this game. The combination of a small touch-pad and the lagginess of Windows XP overall creates a gaming atmosphere in which small little skiers have an average mortality rate of somewhere around 30 seconds.
