i reallylike the game, but i'm confused about the judgement of close calls? i get them for being sorta close but when i get REALLY close it doesn't count?

I think I ended up getting in trouble for playing this game when I was younger, glad I should be more than old enough to play now.

I was jumping here and there dodging cars and getting close calls and and olympic hurdlists. When suddenly a bus
appears out of the blue and smashes my skeleton into a thousands peices before sending me to oblivian....

The irony with this is that there is a sidewalk literally five yards away from there that is guaranteed to minimize casualties.
