Enjoyed the game play. It would be nice to see the game expanded beyond 15 weeks. After getting all the upgrades for the house, Edmund still has to dry his clothes in his bedroom. I may play again to maximize health to see how that affects the DAC score.

Started of by donating to DAC. Made deals with brothel but kept it under the radar, invested in the factory and declined all unhealthy DAC rules. Saved to buy top furniture. The top bed actually recovers a good deal of stress. Saved to buy corpse guy and then it was kind of easy.

I wish the food and stress meters just incremented a total for each day. It shouldn't be a game of getting to work and then back to sleep the most efficiently.

"Have you ever had trouble with the DAC?" [Declined] Dac -5% WTF?? Then, turned down some kids begging for coins because of 0% DAC, lost 10% health but no DAC improvement. Trash balance of impact. Also, 90% street health but corpses laying all over the place. Dev are you sleeping?

Any resemblance to the current situation is purely coincidental. I like the plot, graphics and music. Waiting for more...

Tutorial didn't notice I could walk with arrow keys, so it stayed on movement control instructions. I played through the next few weeks, then accidentally died of starvation because I didn't realize Edmund needed to eat lol
Ah, good spot! I'll be sure to note that in the next update.
And yes, he will have an unfortunate end if he doesn't eat... (Be sure to keep on top of stress too! It increases your wage from work) Cheers

Nice idea, but not knowing in advance what's the consecuencies of each interaction and have live alteration of the fixed weekly differences makes it hard to get the hang of it.

Kind of wish you could know how much of a hit in reputation some decisions cause. It's frustrating to just find out randomly, with some hits being pretty devastating for what feels like choices that don't do much of anything.

Seems like a rogue-like game with no positive outcome designed to show how it's impossible to win a game of politics when you are basically a puppet and the game is so broken there isn't anything to do but tear it down and start over.

good game, civilian instead of warrior sort of stuff ... unless the game has weapons later on - will need to explore further

Seems as time goes on, the negative income compounds. I finished 16 weeks, but most of those weeks with 1-5% Health or DAC Rep. I didn't see the point of buying furniture at all, although I did.
Not really sure how to feel about this game. 2/5

I like the graphics style, the background, and premise of figuring out a balance to live or join the DAC. However, I didn't see any benefits of buying the good bed, window, and wallpaper. Also, I was a bit thrown off, that you couldn't at least buy bits of food like bread, cheese, or dried meat to recover some health. Or even make a premium (in price in the game, not buying Kong Coins) to buy different levels of medicine, to keep the character afloat in game. Like a Minor, Lesser, and Full Potion, giving perhaps +3%, +5%, and +15% in accordance? I look forward to see if the game adds more stuff and mechanics.
Thanks for the feedback, The health is the health of the street, not personal player health. At current there are no player health stats.
In a future update, furniture stats and player health will be added into the game,
Cheers :)

jeez. this is tough. if you wanna make this a full game I suggest putting in a few lucky breaks as a way of resetting the negative income you tend to get.
Donating towards a stat in the post office is a good way to make life easier! - But, having said that, events or player 'powers' will be in future updates which will ease or slow down negative stats :) Cheers

Unlike Jabgecko, i find the game extremely confusing: why is my health decreased after i slept, even after i bought a better bed and gained 6 due to that, i lost 7 by sleeping. Am i missing something else inside my home? I don't understand why i should bother turning on the lamps either (i'm poor, right? so i should save on lamp-oil and leave them turned off?)

Good proof of concept. Solid story beats, relatively well indicated decisions, never had a situation where the wording felt unfair that is usually an issue in these sort of "sort the court" games. Slick visuals, sound is well matched to the gameplay. Was quite a few bugs/asset errors .Nothing game breaking however, fine in a beta. Very fun world building, wears its influences but does not get twee with it which is refreshing. RNG is an interesting and encourages replayabilty, not sure if alignment triggers more events from relevant faction or not. Finding the trade personal income/budget for health/rep is vital and I missed it the first time through lol. Overall, feels very promising and is fun even in its current state. My one qualm is being yelled at for having correspondence on the floor despite having picked it all up on the first day haha.
