Correction: It would be nice if a Golden Voucher was guaranteed on about every 4-5 days, Divine Edge was guaranteed immediately before every dragon encounter (or dragon wasn't an auto-lose without it), the weapon/armor cap was removed, it was possible to use both a Golden Voucher and Divine Edge/Elixir in a dragon battle, Soul Shrines were guaranteed to not appear before <30% Lifespan, and only 1 of the same type of accessory shop (Elixir/Voucher/Edge) appeared between any 2 monster fights.

This game is fun, but it has weird balance. Enemies scale beyond the weapon/armor cap, ensuring I eventually lose. Without buying a coupon, enemies deal more damage than I can afford with armor upgrades/life elixirs. Finding a dragon before a Divine Edge or max armor/weapon + Life Elixir is auto-lose. Weapon and armor shops keep showing up after I've hit the cap and can't purchase from them anymore, even to just restore my HP at the armor shop.
It would be nice if a coupon was guaranteed on days 3, 6, and 9-ish, Divine Edge was guaranteed before every dragon encounter, the weapon/armor cap was removed, and it was possible to use both a coupon and Divine Edge/Life Elixir in a dragon battle.

So there's to ways to slay a dragon: 1. Have max armor/weapon and a life elixer. 2. Use a Divine Edge. Most consistent way I've found to get either of those is to buy a single weapon upgrade at the beginning of the game, then nothing else until I get a coupon. I spend the coupon on the next battle, then start upgrading weapon/armor, but don't go below 500, or ~400 if another battle is up next (so you can buy another coupon). After day 10, I buy the first Divine Edge I see and hoard it until I see a dragon.

For the hard badge, buy Sword when you start a run. After that, use Armor to heal yourself when you get low (~1k health, ~2k as game progresses). Buy Soul if life goes ve tried. Good luck! Less than a third of people who got the medium badge stayed for hard, so if you found this useful, + so others can see

Awsome game. good spacing of the soulshrines itemisation is great.(dont mind spelling) but 2 suggestions : could you do something about the more then occasional goblin performing a TRIPLE tap on me. and second the levelling : maybe introduce 'discount' stores where you can get things dirt cheap or other things that help your odds. just a multiplier seems like a little lazy (but effective) method of progression esspecially earlie on where you're getting the hang of it and your highscore rises with each run anyway. again Great Game and looking foreward to the sequal.

Some tips:
Buy the 1st weapon upgrade asap and save money by not purchasing armor.
If you don't get voucher before Day 10, restart.
Use your exilir if you see the voucher coming if possible
so you have as much as health for the enemy you're going to use your voucher on.
After you prioritze weapon upgrade, stock one elixir and use armor upgrades only if your health is low.
If you encounter more vouchers along the way, buy armor once
your health drop below half.
*Having elixir can help you defeat dragons if you're weapon is good enough.

This game DOES kill you for getting the gold voucher. I'm sure. I bought one, used it, got 2 items, dragon came, dead. Ok, try again. One more voucher. Two items. Dragon. Death. Ok, once more. Same. I hate you, Drake.

I remember this... I had it on one of my old Androids... I remember this one time when I lucked out and got 2 Tickets one after the next, lots a moolah I had there, lost because there was no Soul Altar the next 3 stops. This one feels different from the Mobile version though... I remember something... eh... something green...?
Still as hard as ever though, it all boils down to which stops you get... and I love that about it... absolutely no control over the whims of fate(RNG) beyond saving up your money now and risk bankruptcy later, or save up for later and forfeit any profitable venture one could've enjoyed in the long run...

This game is amazing and i would LOVE to see a sequel The concept is amazing the game is challenging and its luck you may get a life thing and not have the money cause your focused on lvling up.(Also this is my opinion)I would love to have the levels to do something like add stats or abilitys also the way to get these abilitys is to buy them but they stay on the warrior(Or maybe if you do make a sequel you can add this)and also some new items would be cool.

Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but I love this game's commentary on capitalism. This girl's life itself is being held hostage by cruel marketers who force her to run endlessly and combat increasingly lethal evil monsters. From her unjust perils, the other shopkeepers have a source of income as well. We too are forced to work our lives for little personal benefit while the rich businesspeople make more money.

Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but I think this game has a nice message underneath it. This girl only has minutes left to live, yet instead of spending them selfishly, she's traveling across the land killing evil monsters. We too have a limited amount of time on Earth, and for some people it ends early through unexpected means. It's fine to take some time to treat yourself, but always remember to help others when you can.

I got some advice for you guys.. if you are low on health buy some armor and it will replenish your health and give you a better armor, so just use elixir if u dont have money and its your last hope. At the beginning try to focus more on atk and just upgrade armor like i said when your low on health. It is possible to defeat the Dragon with Elixir as backup the only problem is hat you atleast need to have armor 8+ and your weapon at max otherwise divine edge will help you alot if you aren't at that grade yet with your stats. Also buy Vouchers whenever you can they will get you to max stats after 2 Voucher buys. So guys these are my advices of course you need luck in this game but try hard i almost gave up hope but did it at last. So at last to my rating.. the game concept is very good and is some different gameplay the music is relaxing but adventurous at the same maybe if there wasn't like this luck thingy it would be more fun but otherwise a 4/5!

While there is a lot of luck in this game, having beat 3 dragons now I have determined there are a couple of main strategies required. The first and most important is that when you fight a dragon you must use divine blade; healing will not be enough. Second, its very important that you wait to buy your armor upgrades until your health is low and don't use the shrine when your above about 25%. And lastly, while you can kill a dragon without ever using the golden voucher, it is well worth it to save for the first time you encounter one. Anyway great game 5/5

Some tips: wait until your health is low before buying armor; this way you get more hp restored for the same price, and you delay the increase in price for later upgrades. Upgrading your weapon helps you win battles faster and thus take less damage (the best defense is a good offense). To get the best runs, save up to buy the first golden ticket you see and use it right away; the extra money will make it easy to buy all later golden tickets. If you miss the first one, press p to pause, quit your run, and try again.

Really great game, will get 4 stars from me if some more mechanics are added for progression (for example, gaining levels should give you more starting gold or an experience modifier instead o just raising your score.) Super cool concept.

Awesome, I agree with those posts up there, but make sure you dont give us too many stats (it might get boring; become an idle thing, i wouldnt want that). Also reducing the randomness on dragon and making divine edge a skill rather than an item would be better (or add a second inventory slot)

great concept of the game. I found the hard badge a little easy for me because all you have to have is devine blade to kill the dragon. great concept though. It would have been better if there was a storyline and/or humor added to it.

This game seems too heavily dependent on RNG to me. If you run into the Dragon, the run is over unless you have the Divine Edge, and it could just show up at the wrong times, or even not at all. The gold voucher is kind of the same deal, since it could show up too late to be of any use. (You need 500G to even get it, and if you're low on HP, you're better off getting a heal if possible, since it eats your item slot)

That's so nice! It's great to see that the developer read all the comments and implemented useful stuff for levelling up. It's great to know that no matter how much I play, the start is always hard! It's also good to see that the elixir is really scarce, and if you find one with 50% lifespan, you better spend almost all your money to buy it or you are not going to find another. I also enjoy the fact that dragons are really hard and can spawn since day 10, so we can die earlier and get our great amount of experience and do nothing with it! Also liked the amount of luck involved and the HUGE DIFFERENCE between levels of equipment. I loved the fact that no matter how good is your armor, you just increase the amount of life, and don't decrease the damage taken!!
Oh, and specially liked the sequel, that has been announced 3 years ago and has all the unbalanced gameplay fixed!

The golden ticket costs $500 - when used it gives 10 times the gold reward for the next monster. I was only able to slay the dragon after i used one of these and was able to buy the more expensive gear.
