Nice game and everything, but...WTF WAS THE POINT? I want to know who that was, how I "created" him, and where I was trapped. Mystery is fine, but when you give me absolutely ZERO context, it makes it nonsensical.

The game makes it extremely obvious how to jump. It stops for about half a second before typing out the rest of the word jump.

on the safety first level i didnt listen to him and when i collected the spikes
i was like "HOLY CRAP THE SPIKES ARE CANDY CORN!"

The guy is like you in the mirror. Perhaps he wasn't lying, but that was like true for him. Spikes may damage him, the gems are collectible... It's you backwards, so why not?

when you rech the part about the caged creature, you can go to the beam, but jump away from it into the wal (literally) and get back on top of the creatures prison

nvm i finally found out, jump over crystals, (having one spike left over)
shooting the dark guy and then he falls in the pit and dies and the screen cracks, saying poetic end when its almost done, u get in a bright room, go to the pillar, then it says end, free ending 2/2 + this so no one else gets this problem :P

When you destroy the boss and the screen begins to fall and the title of the room changes its name just at the end the title changes to "poetic end" ;)

instructions. J is jump, a/d is walk u can also use x/c, k is shoot spikes yes spikes are useful. do not jump on creatures they will kill you. And just a little tip for the future at the end when you get back to the beginning ignore it and just wait by the light beam after a while it disappears continue walking. and jump you will go right through the wall and that gives you access to the second ending. oh and to keep this on rate it up! thanks for listening and good luck on the game. I loved it and im sure you will too, my appreciations to the creator. :]

I never noticed it but I think it portrays a upside down dream. why do I think that you ask the pajamas are a dead give away and second of all what is in this game that the dude said that was true?

For the boss fight:simply shoot a spike while jumping towards the boss. He will continue moving while you will freeze in midair and land on the gems.

guys for everyone thinking the achievemint is impossible. its not it is possible i just figured it out by mysekf. when your in the last stage with the part of you going outta you jump on the gems like your both allmost combined (in the middle) and then you kill the part of you and then you get the second part this is how to get the second ending

if you use the spikes from the pit on the level where he tells you to push the button to make a bridge over it, instead go down get the spikes go back and use them on the left wall of the level to get up and he'll say to you " you think your real clever, don't you", this won't help you anywhere in the game, but it's just a little extra that i found and felt like mentioning to people who don't care the slightest bit :)

There's a few things to say: first of all, well done! One of the best games I know. Second, the name suggests a sequel, and so do I. Finally, can we please replay finished levels without resetting? Hope you think about this.

Completing the game actually felt a little bit tougher than a medium badge. I mean, you can complete it in about 10 minutes if you look at the comments, but if you actually do it without help (like I did), it takes half an hour at the very least.
