I didn't have a problem with the intro page. Then I tried playing the game in my school's computer lab and was embarrassed that ppl might think I'm a perv if they see my screen.
The intro screen is feeding the stereotype that Brazilians think of women as objects.
Also, the class system causes a huge barrier of entry for new players. When you buy a pack 7/8 of all the cards you get is unusable, and it costs a huge investment to start a new class

This is by far the best polished browser based TCG Ive ever played. Feels more like Im playing a client based online TCG like MTGO.

Not bad, It's definitely in the top half of such games, but the overall gameplay is little bit confusing and still, after 2 parts of tutorial, I'm not sure about IF and WHEN can some card be played.. I guess I'll stick with Elements... ;)

i always happen to discard my weapons if i dont equip anything, could that be made a bit more clear or something? ^^ could i just auto-skip the equip phase if i dont have anything for it?

It would be a cool feature to be able to read a card in your hand by mousing over it, rather then clicking. Just saying. :P Great game though! Will definitely play it for a long time.

Having started playing the game when it was on Kong years ago and having played at Ederon.com since then, I can only say it's great to see it back here. IMHO The most refreshingly simple yet dynamic TCG since the genre's progenetor Magic.

It disturbs me how much effort was put into this game, which is wholly unplayable by a person who doesn't pay real money for gold.

There is mnothing wrong with sexualised females in fantasy themed games. That's what women wear in those worlds. Don't discriminate them because you don't agree. You don't see muslim women demanding our women wear burkhas.

Good game if you want to start off a trading card game and get your ass kicked by people that have been playing for 7 years... This isn't a game release, it's a feeding frenzy for their veteran players. 1 star cause I can't give less..

It's a great game, but there is still room for some improvement in the multi-player aapect of the game, matches seem to draw on forever waiting on people to play.

I rated the game 5/5 but I got this problem that has not even let me played once. I get "joining zone" but then after several minutes, an error would pop up saying Connection Lost. Please refresh the game and try again. Help?

why does it take me 10 turns to get a weapon (i died in 11 turns and i did not get one until the last turn), make it easier to get a weapon.

Not really, I'm just saying that if they feel the need to attract an audience by having every woman in a sexually suggestive pose (I'm sorry, but showing every female prominently displaying large breasts is suggestive) then the game itself is most likely of poor quality. I'd be fine with it if men were shown in the same manner, but right now it's "Men are heavily armoured in fighting poses, women are scantily clad in suggestive poses". This is one of the reasons gamers are seem as immature perverts; games like this that try to appeal to them. I should say; good on the developer for promising to change it, if you're reading this developer my comments aren't directed to you but to the people who think it's okay for games to display all women as near naked with enormous breasts.

Martial arts wear clothes like these. Showing too much skin is dumb for a martial artist in actual combat. I remember taking some karate courses. Boys and girls wear similar outfits.

One of these days, people will realize that them making these comments is the misogyny, and not the other way around. Get your religious bullshit out of here.

Let's appease all these people saying this incredibly badass looking monk ninja chick with her battle-worn cape flapping in the background after finishing an incredibly tough battle by giving her a burqa. Their eyes won't burn the the animated boobs then. They can't even stop to think that there's a reason martial artists wear light clothes, they are just offended to be offended.

I guess I can't wrap my head around that particular animation and those particular card designs trying to "sell the game." I can't imagine any guy looking at that and saying "Woah hot babe. I'm going to play and drop money." When I saw it my initial thoughts were "Badass Ninja chick." Guess I'm weird for not bringing sex into it. But I can respect the 'Sexualisation of women" argument. I just again, think it's ridiculous to bring into a card game.

@Sasquatchius An advertisement that the games content is poor? "Flagrant stereotyping." Uh huh...gotchya. Wow man you're reading way too much into a simple animation and card design. First, the idea that the image is an "Advertisement that the games content is poor" is a total fallacy of logic. The two points are unrelated. Second, the "Sexualisation" of women is from your male perspective. For something to be sexual you have to attribute it to sex. I personally had no such thoughts when looking at the animation. I can respect the desire to respect the sexuality of women, but that concept has no place in a videogame. It's over-analyzing to an extreme.

@Shadow: There's fantasy and then there's using women as sexual objects to sell a game. We as a community should not put up with the flagrant stereotyping and sexualisation of women. I could put up with the intro animation, or if males were portrayed similarly, but there are five women, all are shown with big breasts posing, are males shown in suggestive poses? No. There is no justification it's a joke. As far as I'm concerned it's simply an advertisement that the games content is poor.
I'm sorry but considering everything I said up to this point it seems that you just want to bash for the sake of bashing... :) But either way, I'm sorry this is bringing some negativity. I promise the next version will have some different intro animation, regardless of any prejudice and will be as conservative as it can be.

Look I don't mean to be a jerk here, but all the negativity about the intro screen is really un-warranted. It's like the guy in Clerks who walks in and gets all offended because Dante and Randal are having a perverse conversation. To you the offended/turned off player I offer you this: Who is to say that the scantily clad babe in chain armor isn't a warrior in Ederon Lore? Who's to say that in the world of Ederon she is not part of some elite Amazonian sect of warrior babes who kick ass and take no names? Just my two bits, but really if a hot animated babe is enough to get you all grrfunked and turned off from a truly great TCG then to you I say your loss. Open your minds to the idea of fantasy. Look not at what is, but what could be.

Nothing says "tactical, deep, engaging card game" like an incredibly oversexualized anonymous woman as the first thing you see.
Seriously, big turn off.

I played the tutorial (with text cut off in all of the info boxes) and then started the campaign, to find that I have to play the tutorial again. :-/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I find it really off putting whenever I see women with breasts bursting out of skimpy clothes. It always makes me think "They're trying to entice me with half naked animations, the game is probably poor". It's to the extent that I probably won't play because of it.
