Pretty good. Although I feel like you need to reduce the jump requirement down to 50 plasma or even less. I was on about day 100 when I first reached the core and then you are only getting 5-20 plasma per run and it's so boring to have to keep doing the run over and over again to get enough. All my components were maxed out or close to being so, so there was no real progress there. Lag needs to be fixed on deep floors and the red planet but other than that this is fairly solid. 4.5/5.

3 small tips; Keep collecting technologies, the only one who as a limit, is mobility, the rest keeps stacking, even if the bar is full (hold mouse over to see numbers)
Some times it's better to upgrade a part, but not to use it, simply upgrade it between days and then switch back to the better part.
You need A LOT of plasma, so get 100 asap and get to the next planet, there's a lot more plasma than on the first one (don't worry, you can still dig on the first planet after the jump)

All ? achievements are made on the Red Planets once you jump. Even once you jump you can go to either planet.
To get the agile achievements go with a slow motor agile body with full vision

omg , if you lan max to side (for easy achivments) the game gets so laggy, just like all thous passed over items would not disappear @.@

I'm really enjoying this game. Good work! It does take a long time to progress, it seems, but I'm actually enjoying the grind so far.

@ThorM1: Barriers are both lava blocks *and* material blocks. Upgrades do not count as barriers, nor do bugs or lasers (I hit all of these on the run where I got the achievement). I'm not sure about the laser emitters or bug hives, but I dodged those as well.

Darn i got to the 99 days and barely reached the core, i almost gave up when i reached the 700 deep but i keept going, finally after a lot of runs i got to max speed and resistance to get to the 800 feet. Besides the 10 bonus super minerals i got just 15 till now, i got the D5 lava and E5 furious, but they are crap compared to the maxed E4 circle and D4 gold and i cant upgrade them cause i cani barely cross the 800 feet, even when i cross it i just manage to get 1 to 3 super minerals before i run out of res. or energy. The stats are wrong with the higher equipment or they have some hidden super bonus? Am I doing something wrong?

If you want to mine in long time.
use
slow engine(mentioned in tips)
and tilt max (over 45 degree) and keep digging in soft surface

Okay, I am really disappointed. I finally hit 1,000 depth expecting something special to happen since it looks like I hit the bottom of the meter. But nothing... not even an award :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
tip: fast small hull for collection at larger depths, large hulls really imo waste energy and health, on top of a negated speed. max out the purple hull then see how far you can get ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is horrendously grindy. In large part because your maneuverability is so bad, even with upgrades to both agility and vision, that by the time you can see a patch of stuff that will make it less grindy it's almost always very, very far out of reach.

The Bonus area is underwhelming as it solves the problem with gems being rare, but money is so low that you have to go back and grind the regular area anyways.
Also why are the mines, lasers, and nests of hostile giant insects anyway underground? Id like to have my own lasers thank you.

I wish I had the option to turn off the engine upgrade that gives turbo, it's really annoying to accidentally use a turbo when you're using the ones given and use a ton of energy instead. Thank you for reading.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
By the end, it gets REALLY grindy. As in do a run, get a small upgrade, do another run, get maybe a couple of other small upgrades, and maybe if you're lucky, after 10 runs, you'll get a few blocks further.

Day 105:
Yet to leave the first planet. Hell, yet to even reach the core, with most components halfway or better upgraded, and are third to fifth generation themselves.
Giant Rocks? Sure. I get that. They damage the machinery.
Giant Bugs? Sure. I get that. They can gunk up the works.
Can we slow down the drill so we can make tighter turns? No. Odd, but okay.
Laser beams that zap you to pieces while you're 200 meters in the ground? Um, I don't get this.
Mines in the middle of the ground that just seem to randomly be about and blow up when you get near them, but they ignore the giant bugs? I'm not sure I get this either.
Sorry, but this is insane. The grind is incredibly, incredibly irksome. Throw in the rest, and this becomes tedious very quickly, even with multiple upgrades.

Why is the D5 called a "Lave Infiltrator" when it gives no Thermo Protection? Hulls with no built in protection show 0 whatsoever Thermo Protection, even after upgrades.

still waiting, this game need to be updated. got everything maxed and cant get passed 700m. this is a joke. I know I suck and I fail at life, but dang, can I beat a game ive been playing for a solid week?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Nice game, all about buying and improving your technology to get further in the mining, but after you get to the core, the best improvements are too expensive, i mean after you try so hard to get to the core you realize that you need 10 plasma for the first improvement and then 30 for the second and so on? i'm lucky if i get 10 to 14 plasma and my drill gets destroyed thanks to 10k thermo damage, i think there should be more plasma or less damage or at least cheaper buys...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could use some more explanation of what some things do. Like: Thermal resistance. I don't have a good idea of what the number actually means. If it's at 60 (for example) does that mean that your drill can ignore 60 points of thermal damage from every "hit" of thermal damage? That seems painfully low for the lower levels where temperatures are in the thousands. Also, the shield slot item. Does that just absorb the given amount of (non-thermal) damage? But I've seen durability go down when my shield was still active and I still had thermal defense left, so there's obviously something I don't get about how it works. It "feels" like the shield helps a lot, but I can't really tell if having the shield at 40000 is better or worse than (or the same as) just having an extra 40000 durability.

How am I supposed to remove my turbo component? It's impossible! If it is the game should clearly say how you can do it. Otherwise it becomes very hard to complete the achievement that asks you to get to the core without the turbo component; if it is even possible.

I like the game, played enough to justify a purchase if it was on steam, however even if it was for sale and not on here I would not purchase it due to lack of content, it's going to take a great deal of words to convince people it's worth buying, after having seen that video the dev made tho it does sound quite a bit better then it actually is, 3/5 Rating As the amount of time it takes to play the game is not justified by tangible content in my opinion.

@5inthe: probably your comp delete your cache automatically.
@Crazyh: yes, it is possible, i have all and i'm not hacking (lol, where's the fun?).
@Misaky: just dont go down, but left or right... :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think the game is pretty hard compared to other mining games.
It taked real skill (somehow) to dig 2 thoutsands blocks to get the another drill.
i prefer playing the game for 150 days than playing it for 30 and finishing it in a second.
instead of balancing ALL the numbers, why dont you make two separate files: one containing the current mode (Hard) another whit the balanced content (Normal) ?
I think this difficulty is quite new for a mining game. i want to see where it goes! :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun game, but super grindy once you get to the point where you need those special lava gems. Cutting them down by half an order of magnitude would seem more fun to me.

Seems a pain that the last item you looked at is automatically equipped. Especially when you are trying to level up the gear you will be using next while still using the better gear. Possible to add an equip button rather than having it auto switch? Or maybe a lock on items you want to keep equipped while you look at others.

What the heck!! I cant get the final red 500 m without barriers. Ive done it 4 or 5 times but it wont give me credit. Can anyone help??
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Crazyh3 see my earlier comments... Smaller hulls go faster. Try the Wasp hull with a fully upgraded engine. You'll have less health, but if you go fast enough you can zip past mines and bugs without taking damage.

Am I the only one having a save issue? I'll play one day, come back the next and there is no save in any of the 3 slots.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Misaky You can get it by switching to smallest engine, then going into red and pointing sideways and then just afking. (make sure to use your boosts)

1. Love, LOVE, L-O-V-E the "True Vision" on Hull #2, but why isn't that on subsequent Hulls, and why doesn't the "Radar" do that.
2. It would be really nice if I could stack more than 1 misc. item into slots. Why doesn't the "Ultimate" hull have more than 1 slot???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
we cant beat the game without candy drill can we? i have everything maxed out but i cant unlock it cause of the achievement that needs us to collect 4k blocks from red. theres just now enough blocks on that planet! i keep trying and the best i can do is 3.3k blocks (15k material) and 610 meters

Simple mining game with a higher replay value due to the addition of special features assigned to different equipment. As far as mining games go, 85/100. Needs more music tracks, and a couple more types of enemies that require different strategies to overcome.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The rewards for the red planet achievements are useless to say the least. By this point in the game we have almost 0 use for cash because we have spent so long trying to earn 100 plasma that we've easily stockpiled 100k+. Would recommend changing the rewards so that they are plasma+gems or plasma+res. The research bonuses and candy drill are good, but the rest really aren't :(

So I had given this three stars, but i kept playign so I figured if its got a hook enough to keep me playing Ill bump the star rating up to four.
However, this end game is a grind and falls out of the realm of 'fun' for me. Sorry but back to three stars.

I think I figured out the secret to this one. since it doesn't pause when you change the window focus, just click launch and then switch to another game, application, or what ever and let it just grind itself out. I'm currently getting about 2000 blocks per launch by treating this grindfest as an idle game.
