To be precise, the achievements are not "buy X runes", but rather "own X runes" - I've bought a few thousand water runes in different runs.

@Simsler: I left auto-prestige at 350 on until the difference in how I much generate (let's say 1.0e28) vs the cost to get to the next goal (let's say 1.0e32) is less than 6 (in this case 32 - 28 is 4, so would let it try to hit the goal).

@il3ss46: Thx for your reply! I did the first 3 runs in 2 days. The run for 400 ash runes is now going on for 3 days. 350 ash runes is fun, but for the last 50 ash runes it takes incredible long. Was it the same when you played?

@Moczan: Why don't you respond to the suggestions of the users? The first 3 runs I didn't unterstand the complaints. It was nice, dynamic and easy to handle. But now at run 003 it is upgrading sooo slow and gets boring to watch. I don't understand why you turn a nice idle-game into a piece of crap just by not updating it. It just needs minor adjustments.

When did you get the badge for 500 water runes? Is it possible to get it in the 002-run? Because I would reach the final target, befor I come to 500 water runes and then I have to finish the run. Is it easier to get 500 water runes in a higher run?

You can turn the random reward off, then you only get bonus to already unlocked cost and income, but much less than the single random reward bonus. No followers added randomly then.

Why does the reward for getting to 50 runes get cut in half? You just trying to get people to buy the shop items, or something?

Initial costs are the same, the effect is on the prestige. You should get better cost reduction whenever you click prestige and choose a 'rune total cost down -X %' More reduction for same prestige points spent.

So basically cost prestige reduces the cost of the runes, if I'm correct. But I write down cost of runes on new runs before and after additional cost prestige bonus and didn't notice differences for prize

After you complete a run you can choose a permanent bonus for future runs: Cost prestige helps by giving more reduction to rune total cost when you prestige. Income prestige gives more to rune total income when you prestige.

I completed the hard badge on run 004 with ~3500% cost/income prestige and ~4000% mana from water/earth runes; then idled with occasional logins for several weeks to reach 400 water. Best advice is to click on the button several times really fast when choosing your end-run bonus, which lets you get it 2-3 times.

This is a decent enough game, but the 'idle' part is a bit of a scam, if you click off the window the number stops going up. I went to the toilet and came back to not having made any progress at all!

Just got the hard badge. Bonuses that contributed mostly were 20,000% Earth Rune Income (Total) and 10,000% Cost Prestiage (Total) on Run 5 (Took 2 hours when starting the run). I ended up completing Run 3 ten times a day to get the bonuses since Run 4 took longer and the bonus difference wasn't high. Not an idle way to get the hard badge, had to grind for it (Played movies in the background). I'd say 2 weeks if you play it everyday.

I have completed the hard badge with run 005 and I had 1350 Income prestige and 1150 Cost prestige. My earth and fire run had also some boost in mana and that helped a ton (2700 fire and 1125 earth). I also had 15 water runes at the start of every run and that helps after every reset to get the auto-buy fastly and automate your runs. However I think I overprepared and spent too much time on run 004 thinking that if I couldn't complete that in 1 day I would never be able to do run 005. Run 005 is actually almost easier than run 004.

Simply manually save (settings, save game) and then close the browser window. You go offline and when you return you get the offline progress. Or stop playing "awful idle games" and complaining about them...

Had the "game" up, went to sleep and so did my laptop - No progress. This is an awful Idle game.
All Idle games are awful; Why do Kongregate keep giving them badges? But this is especially awful because I can't even idle it by putting my frigging laptop in sleep mode with the game up!

@Korobooshi: Did you save and exit the game or did you leave the page open when you went sleep mode? I guess if you never went offline then the game doesn't give you offline progress.

Does the game not progress while the computer is in sleep mode? What should have taken half an hour wasn't finished overnight.

Also you can try to find a save code and import it via Settings (if you don't care about playing this game nor the Sense of Achievement™). Sometimes it seems to be the only option to get the BOTD in time.

(2/2) If u try 002 & u'll get stuck for hours, u can go to settings and double-click the "Abort Current Run" button. Automation for Runes - once income becomes decent, alternate between All -\> Next, until u can leave it on All, this shall be combined w/ Prestige automation; for Prestige u'd maybe want to leave the Random Reward to On - to get more Worshipers; to kickstart the runs, do the initial Prestiges manually, so u can select which Rune improvements to get (i.e the autobuy & initial worshipers for that initial +% income/prestige gain). On 002 worshippers can be farmed for a while, by setting the auto-Prestige to 50 Magic Runes. Worship starts off fast, but for every +% you'll need more and more time - sometimes it's worth to wait *a bit* for the next level before you Prestige for the extra reward. Unfortunately IDK when exactly the conditions for clearing the 002 in a reasonable time are met. Maybe there's a Wiki page or a YT vid that mentions it somewhere.

Tips for the Second Run badge. Once u reach the "Final goal", u'll complete the Run 000, and the "runs" feature will appear, letting u select the next run difficulty (e.g. ranging from 000 to 002 - can't remember whether after completing 000 or 001). U'll also get a selection of bonuses, and u want to *accumulate enough of them* to be able to beat the Run 002 *BEFORE* u attempt it, else u'll likely get stranded for days it seems, if u only have a small amount of bonuses - if u only have the '+600 starting Mana', these won't push u over the needed threshold. I farmed the 001 b/c there were modifiers like '+Fire Rune income' for a quicker start, although I needed to reach a bit greater goal than w/ farming 000. At first I chose bonuses that followed this logic: faster start = sooner automation = faster Run completion. Then I chose the overall buffing bonuses (e.g. discount & profit all runes), that further sped up the farm & helped to push the final goal. (1/2)

3 painful days. Dominating the run 3. There's nothing special to say, just go around 10k% from all, and do 500 nature at best and leave once you reach water 500.

The medium badge should never be BotD as it requires several days, maybe a week,to finish the run and 4 days to get level 292-300 Occult Rune. The last two levels are 1 day of offline time each, the preceding 4 levels take 2 days at 2 levels of offline time each. I believe it's more of a grindy hard badge.

I struggled for 2 days to get the easy badge and finally never see this game again, and it turns out the BOTD is the second :D
