I'm stuck and I don't know what to do. I'm on 400 ash runes and I've been letting it sit overnight for I don't know how long. I can't get above 372 runes before it's so slow It doesn't progress even after 2 days. The update or whatever ruined it. I just want my water rune badge dang.

One of my bigger peeves is that higher prestiges still only give 1 follower at a time. It seems to me this should scale similarly to the other rewards, especially given how the follower levels scale exponentially. Overall the scaling of many systems here needs a lot of refining.

So I finally got 300 occult runes hit end run. Picked my bonus and nothing no achievement. For the mana/magic it was save the game for the achievement. What do I have to do for this start another run and save or something?

The resources seem to gather drastically faster while the game is in idle. Trying to close the game might be the best course for some quick resources.

This has got to be the worst "game" I've ever seen. No video, nothing to play, just watching numbers increase on a grey screen. Calling this a game is an insult to all other games.

Game was saving yesterday, but it's not saving progress today. WTF!? And yes, I know you have to PROGRESS beyond what you last had. I SHOULD be at 82. It's STUCK at 73!

If you are here for the BOTD, Prestige more, no thats not enough, do it more. Like a lot more and you will be there in no time.

For anyone trying to complete the BOTD, use prestige again and again to up the bonus's for income per rune and minus to cost per rune.

Heya all, if you wanna get the easy badge, just collect 100 levels of the Magic Rune, then open Settings and press Save Game to synchronize with Kong and earn the achieve. Just got it that way.

It is confirmed that Magic Runes are the same things as Mana Runes in the case of the BOTD "Mana Novice" In order to submit your score for this badge you need to go to Settings and click Save Game.

Has anyone confirmed whether "mana runes" & "magic runes are the same thing? This game is sooooo sloooow & I wanna know if I'm wasting my time on this badge.

By the way, Winrost is right: the badge description is misspelled. It should say "Magic Runes", not "Mana Runes", but that's to be expected when badges are now a desperate "filler" being flooded out, ratings be damned; quantity over quality, eh? That seems to be the new popular niche in almost every aspect of most games in general ever since Flash ended. Not just internet games either, what remains of console games is following some alarming trends.

And here we are, continuing the trend of either being too lazy or conniving to make numbers increase when leaving the game's window or tab. It's a simple feature, as I've seen it in every game with anything like that all the way up to recent years (which isn't that long, considering the total time Kongregate has had games with timers/counters like this).

If you have 200 of each item, the 201th Magic Rune will take 27 YEARS to earn. Good luck beating this game legitimately.

I pressed "Buy prestige" on accident without realizing that I have to would start over. When I read that it would reset the game, I wanted to cancel, but the game doesn't let you cancel?!? Very bad design choice

Wow, this game is bland, bacic and boring. Number goes up, buy upgrade to make number go up more. It's not even easy to see how much you'll actually get when you upgrade if you forget the money per rune, so you'd have to calculate it.

BOTD is just the 1st tier Magic Runes. Have to save the game in the bottom right hand corner for numbers to register. Overall, another junky 1 star idle game that no one plays other than to get a BOTD. Hell, most have at least a bit more flavor text in them than this junk :/

Yep, this supposed easy badge is endurance medium, or hard outright, and takes two or three days to complete. Waste of time and space, one star.

why do games like this even get BOTD? its just tedious and there is a thousand other idle games with more content than this sad excuse of a game.
