It also doesn't make sense that the chance for an initial mutation is so staggeringly low compared to all subsequent mutations. For me (at tier 30) it can take 30-45 minutes to find my first mutation, and after that it takes about 3 minutes to have my next tiered clover, at which time I can reliably make a full set to churn out the other 254 mutations. There is something wrong with that, in my opinion.

It would be nice if there was some sort of tutorial that explained mutation mechanics, they don't appear to behave in a way that makes logical sense. More often than not I will have two similar clovers and the resulting mutation is so wildly different that it makes any clever exploration of breeding pointless. It doesn't make sense that clovers can mutate backwards within a tier, and it makes it very difficult to try and breed a clover that is missing from the museum. You're better off taking two solid clovers from two adjacent tiers and then waiting.

The only thing I don't like about this game is, that I have to keep it running. An offline bonus, like a speedup and/or increased mutation chance for some time might be an nice addition.

I don't get it. Are we just supposed to go through this evolution process TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY times? Seems a bit monotonous.

I'm not colorblind, but I still think some sort of mark on the leaves to tell us what tier they are would be really helpful.

I found an interesting thing about getting to next tier. Using two 7/8 clover has a higher chance of getting a full next tier than using one 7/8 and one full next tier clover.

game needs a serious balance patch before i'll even consider playing further... 2 hours spent idle at lvl22, no mutations, no offline mode.. I got better games to use my time on

I experienced a bug where if I went through the maximum pages on museum, then went back to breeding, my slots disappeared and I had 0 slots. refreshing fixed this

3 hours of idle with 7 breeders on the top tier for me - 18 - still not a single mutation. I get the idle isn't quick, but seriously? went from 5-10min to now over 3 hours. come on.

On Tier 39 now and it's been getting tough to see a difference when the clovers start to mutate. I'm slightly colorblind so the like monochromatic colors are all blending together for me, think you could implement some feature that would help color blind players notice the differences for future versions?

There should be an option in settings to have all breeders operating in the same frequency, to allow batching. Great game, btw!

Tips:
You should keep a breeder with the topmost pure and bottom-most pure clover of a tier until you have completed a tier. Over time, your random mutations will fill in most of the tier box. When you have one or two left to fill, you can manually breed them from the scrappings of your current box.
You can, of course, hasten this by assigning multiple boxes to a particular tier, while you keep a box or two for progressing. But pray to the RNGods so you can kill tiers and speed up TEH SCIENCE!

The problem is that it gets boring after some time. The easiest way to get all clovers of a tier is to breed a one-colored clover from one tier and a one-colored from a second. It wouldn't even very complicated to breed a one-colored clover if there wasn't the problem that the clovers don't mutate and you get like one mutation after a day.

I think getting the chances of getting that first mutation of a new tier are currently about two to the power of 276,709 to one against.

I fully finished level 45 and almost all under this level but i needed to go back to level 25 to get the only 3 i missed.
Now i'm stuck at level 19 with level 45 upgrades and upgrades doesn't seem to spped up mutations ... wtf ?!

I love the game, but being able to take flowers back from the museum(like if you accidentally sent one there), a bonus (maybe like *2 science a second?) for completing a tier in the museum, and a way to know how long adding a petal to the altar is going to take, would be some really great, and popular additions to the game, with the tier bonus in the museum being the most popular in the chat room it seems.

@Crunchinate: That's what the auto museum & sell options are there for. Once your stash if filled with e.g. full color clovers of the next tier, it will send new combinations to the museum and sell the rest.

I kinda wish it was a lot easier to tell whether or not a clover is in the museum, since I constantly have to click "museum all" to check what's in the museum before selling. What I'd suggest is a little indicator in the corner of a clover's portrait (a book or something like that, for example) so you can just see immediately if it's in the museum instead of constantly clicking to and fro the museum tab.

Good game. Some suggestions: Moving more than one clover from box to box; an indicator if a petal pattern has been added to the museum; changing more than one petal in the alter (add more options as you get rainbow petals, with a full color change to the next tier when rainbow is completed); upgrade to make rainbow petals drop more frequently; increase breed time upgrade, or make it faster at max; upgrade for more storage (not just breeder storage boxes); multiple alters; colorblind mode (because a lot of people need that). And maybe a little more end-game content.

Is there any chance on you implementing a mouseover function in the museum as a QoL improvement? As in, if we have a couple of variations left to get for a certain level, mousing over the missing clover in the museum would reveal what it is, making it easier for us to try to force the mutation as we know what we are aiming for. I'm still having issue reading the sequence in the museum.

Bug: I got negative fiveleaf clovers. restarting the game only makes it worse, subtracting ~40 every time. Started at -36, went to -35 after finding a leaf. Then -75, -,115, -,155 after restarting multiple times. I wonder if i can trigger a negative overflow!

What's needed is some kind of prestige systems, so you can restart back on tier 1 with a boost to things like your breeding speed or (more critically) your mutation chance. It really does get incredibly slow after a while, taking hours or days to get from one tier to the next, and far too long to get enough research points to upgrade your mutation chance, or enough cash to afford just one single manual mutation.

I would prefer auto-museum to load the clovers into the museum instantly if I do not have them already, rather than waiting for it to be the least valuable on the board first.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Thanks for the game! I would love a notification on the breed screen that tells me the highest tier in the museum that is completed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I love the idea: simplistic and relaxing at the same time!
I feel like some features are still to implement in the game for example, an autofill in the altar that presets an undiscovered leaf, being able to chose the tier of the leaf you're picking or the above-mentionned bonus for the completion of any tier x3
Besides, this game is fun to play

I'd like to see offline progress, at least for science since that seems simplest. I'd also like more sorting options for the stash, both for just sorting and for auto-sell, so I can more easily find what I want when I need to breed something specific. Pausing, scanning through for something, selling, pausing again gets tedious. A setting to get rid of doubles with autosell rather than just the cheapest would be good, and a way to prefer clovers based on their similarity to a specific pattern. Good idle game overall, though.
