This game was undoubtedly made by fans, for fans. I'm a fan, so I'm giving this a 4. Even so, this has only a sort of niche appeal for those of us that played the old Mech Warrior games.
As a fan: I liked the way you brought such a complicated game into a small, manageable format. I am surprised at the number of options that were incorporated form the original games. Do a little homework and see if you can come up with a campaign. Preferably one where we get to pick the missions like the good old days. :) Make the options a tad more diverse.
Also, I might just have had a bad run, but by mission 6, I didn't get one piece of salvage. There was nothing quite like the feel of finally taking down that guy who had better gear than me and then taking his overpowered gun and strapping it onto my mech. ^.^

If you are going to use the mouse as a control, DON'T INSIST ON USING WASD INSTEAD OF ARROWS!!!! If you are left handed, this gets uncomfortable very quickly on a laptop. ONE STAR.

greatest game ever! I didn't notice a lag - must be my nes skills kickin in.. I'd like to see more weapons, bigger maps, more levels.. this is a work of art 10/5

Difficulty settings would be cool. Large battles are a plus, somce of those battles felt far too short. I liked it, good game.

The graphics are decent for the retro style, I really like the game play, but it is somewhat lagging. The diffretn missle options are great and the upgrades are well balanced.

had no lag, maybe if those complaining about lag got a better computer they wouldn't be having lag issues. I gave it 2/5 since from about lvl 4 or 5, i had maxed all guns and all upgrades, story line was horrible and it was far too short and easy. If you want to win real quick, just focus on buying all the tech to start off then buying all chassis upgrade and then arms and lastly the missiles. It wasn't a bad idea for a game, it was just that this idea is used often and your execution failed. My other little problem is right-handed people use their left to play these kinds of games - just like shooters so why all the negativity? WASD is used by both lefties and righties since it practically the universal default

<3 this game. I enjoy this type of game in general, and this is pretty well done for its genre. And out of curiosity... does putting your right hand on WASD just not work?

Very good game. 5/5 However, very little replay value. There should be an 'arena' with different choices of enemies, and different weapons. Also, very limited shop.
Levels should be able to be replayed for the scavenged money (no extra bonus).

ooog.. great game. Only a few things I would change (needs a map, bigger mission area, bigger play area).
Only didnt give 5 cause it lags when there are alot of enemies.
Hope there is another coming up!

You do know that left-handed people make up about 13% of the population, right? You do know that we CANNOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE ARROW KEYS WORK, right?

1/5, not everyone is right handed. Either make customizable controls or add arrow keys. We've evolved past slapping left handers with a ruler to make them right handed.

i was quite excited in the begining then i found out how not verry customizable options thier where then how short the game was and not bieng abel to have a sniper type ability as the screen is much to small maybe a screen setting could be fixed for close far and whatnot but mostly the game lacked alot and it made me sad

I've been over and around this repeatedly. I keep coming to the same conclusion. This is a great game but it makes my comp. restart at random when I am playing so I am done playing it.

hraphics are crappy, gets boring quickly, and for some odd reason, my mech suddenly lost all it's weapons, and walked right off the screen. Now I can't puase it or anything... 2.5/5

loool figured it out. it is a cheapo version of mechwarrior. but who carressss. was a good play. nice upgrades. somtimes i wished i cud see a lil more than what was boxed. but other than that 5/5

i like it, needs a minimap though. would be kinda cool if it had a special aiming cursor. the menus don't feel quite right...but w/e. 5/5
