Fun game, reminds me of "robot wants" series of games. I agree on the ending though, would like to see some sort of story built in, with a cliffhanger paving the way for an awesome sequel.

the second guardian kills me, then the gem gets stuck in the ground and I can't retreive it. and since there aren't any spare gems, I'm SOL

Why is there no special thing if you collect all the gems? I mean its good to leave room for error, but it you have a game like this then normally if you get all of something, you get a secret item or something

kind of a metroid feel. fun, a bit creepy, good work on develpoing an atmosphere. definitely plays as more of an idea for a game than an actual game - more weapons and powerups would help. more creatures would help. 4/5

I find it strange that you would find all of these items laying around on an alien planet. And that they would all work so well underwater. And that we would just go blow up four pyramids and say that the planet is clear of hostile threats.

If you stand in the right place, you can shoot at the final boss' shield from the platform up above him. He can't hit you from there. Unfortunately once the shield comes down you do have to go down there and expose yourself to getting hit.

ending certainly could have explored the concept of alien life. It seems intelligent and the human race completely fails to acknowledge this. I mean, I know that as I race we are stupid, but come on.

I usually like pixel games, but I'll pass on this one. The plot needs some sort of twist. Right now, it's just a "clear level to win" McGame, minus eye candy and distractions. Most of the time was spent walking from point to point; little actual action occurred. --- tl;dr: this game is boring and felt like a chore. Improvement is possible.

Took me a few map segments to find a gun, gee, thanks. Don't you think that as a space travelling human that they'd at least lend me something to defend myself BEFORE I went to the stupid alien planet...

The last boss was disappointing if you fly to the top of the ceiling at the right spot he wont send bats at you and his tracking bullets will hit the thing you land on.

Idk if its a glitch but I died before a pyramaid and when I came back nothing was there but a diamond and I couldn't fire my gun

I really liked this game. In my opinion, don't add music--I liked it without music. It adds to the theme portrayed at the beginning of the game: alone, out-of-place, & desolate. I also liked how the entire game had a "Metroid" feel to it. I can think of only two minor improvements you could make: When you get the jet pack and fly underwater it would change the color of the fire from shades of red to shades of blue. This way it would seem like the jet pack has turned into some sort of hydro pack (because you can't create fire in water...not that I'm aware of. If so, not for long, lol). 2). There could be an upgrade for the gun. Altogether, this has great potential and hats off to the creator. I love pixel games. :)

Completely broken game. I was shooting at an several enemies, was killed while shooting, and when I respawned all enemies were killed and I could no longer shoot or collect gems. Also, when killing multiple enemies on the same screen and leaving causes the same effect, making the game entirely unplayable.

So... I'm sent to invade an alien planet without a gun, but I'm ever so fortunate that the aliens just leave them lying around. Even better, it seems the aliens designed their world so that killing them would open doors. I feel like this should be a trap...

As usual we provide suggestions in which would create a more appealling game in which people will one day add to their favs.
More variety in the environment, and inhabitants would be nice. More bat-like-aliens, it is fun to kill them and get chased by them =)
I dislike the annoying sound of feet, and landing when you jump. Also I would like to add that you should be able to get killed when you land from a high enough distance when you land. It is always weird but convenient when you find weapons and gear that seem man-made yet no one has ever been to this planet except you...? 4/5

Of coarse the aliens have tools like machine guns, jet packs, life boosters, and dive equipment that are perfectly suited for humans:-)
It wouldn't make sense if they didn't!!!

The game broke when I killed two enemies at the same time as I left the screen. I went back to the screen where the enemies were and there was one black diamond I could not pick up, my gun no longer fired, and the heads up display disappeared.
