I never would have noticed the one star blinking oddly (scroll). Especially with the Casseopeia star being so blatant, the attention to detail for that one puzzle was pretty disparate from the rest of the game. Lodestone was another sticking point for me, too. The HUGE zones for the arrows were annoying, I went up & down the ladder a few dozen times by accident looking for the last plaque. Great game though, can't wait for part II. Nice work!

ProfessorPeewee: After you place the lodestone, you can use your compass in that room. You have to put the North key in the thing pointing in the same direction your compass says North is, etc.

Why do the keys go where they do in the compass? The lodestone and compass don't seem to give any indication, I had to use the walkthrough...

The puzzles were actually very good and challenging, even though I only managed to figure out the logic behind some of them after using the walkthrough. The main problem with them is that the written hints aren't clear or accurate. The nineteenth rung one, for instance - it's completely misleading. And most everything to do with the lodestone is so obscure that it's almost impossible for the average player. Just finding the lodestone, for instance, was ridiculously tedious. A hint popping up in the right room when you enter with the compass in your inventory would make it a lot better. As to the keys, the hint is way too vague and in fact is only of use when it comes to finding the lodestone.
Funnily enough, the puzzle that stumped me for the longest was the in-your-face way the password is derived. I'd been faithfully following obscure clues and hints for so long that the way the password puzzle is set up came as a total non sequitur.

It’s a nice puzzle game, but, as with many puzzle games, the plot doesn’t really make sense. Your uncle clearly knew about those things you find hidden at the end of the game. Did he lock them away there? He obviously must have known how to find the hidden plates—why weren’t THEY in the sealed envelope in the intro? Getting your help obviously wasn’t as important to him as his letter made it sound. “I cannot tell you where I am, only how to find me”—he didn’t even do that much.

about the secret note, though, kcho, which consequence were you worried about? The moon was set in the same direction in the mural, which would create no problem for the plate, and the photo that you take of the moon constellation would make it easy for you to find the difference and thus the secret note.

stuck at the code right at the end. I know I have the right code but the wall doesn't open! am i supposed to click somewhere?!

Ok it was great game and i liked how each part required several things to be in place i order to advance. But direction was vague and hard to understand what to do next. In my own oppinion i cant think of any ways to make the game clearer but until someone does come up with a way, 4/5.

what is it with this fingering the hole in this mural?
how do i do that? i click the hole all the time and nothing happens for me as in walthrough

Really nice game, but I have a few criticisms.
Sometimes, the dialogue box got in the way of my game. It would be much better if I could click it to make it disappear, rather than wait for it to disappear itself.
The lantern puzzle was really tricky. Although you had references to Saints, I couldn't find any way to link the saints to each lantern. It became a bit of a guessing game until it hit me that the numbers on the graves were the key. Each number is a year, so put each lantern in chronological order based on the symbol the way they appear on the tablet.
The key puzzle was the worst...I still don't get that, so thanks for the walkthrough.

I agree Exceeding difficult and not much fun got pix of mural's and finally stumble upon a one hole in a mural that result in me poking something through to the other side and I didn't give it a go. +1 for graphics -4 for everything else needs a tremendous amount of work to be even decent.

Much too hard. Wasn't very fun. I had to spam click to find anything, as sometimes clicking on something didn't always work. Also, I wouldn't qualify this as horror. Mystery at best. 2/5

Fantastic game! This is how you make a point-and-click game (not like some of the others on here *cough cough* Reincarnation *cough cough*). I do agree that some things were harder to notice than others. As for the sun stone, I almost got frustrated (maybe saying next to the rung would be better than behind), but random clicking in and around the area saved the day. Can't wait for the sequel.

I liked the fact that it let you think about most of the puzzles, and in general it's a good game. The only major criticism I have is the difficulty with which one navigates the chapel. Arrows often point in a great many directions, the camera angle changes sharply as you move often leading you to go back on yourself accidentally, and as for the '19th Rung' puzzle, it is all but impossible to tell which rung that is since the flick screen presentation means you have no idea how many rungs you've descended. Besides, it's not behind, it's to one side. All things equal though, pretty good.

Decent, but the note that bugs everyone bugs me too. The only other thing that seriously bugged me was the key-compass puzzle. I never would have gotten that one without the walkthrough, which to me says there's something wrong with the puzzle. I have high hopes for the sequel!!

Nice game - I don't get peoples problems? I just studied what I was given, and used trial and error, until I managed to pull through. Not too difficult if you have good eyes and logic. Like the mood too!
