Under rating threshold (show) Great game, would get a 5/5. But the secret note...good god, that's not hidden, that's insanity. I played through a second time just to see what attracted the guy in the walkthrough to it. It is WAY out of scale with the difficulty of noticing stuff in the rest of the game. At least make the thing it points to discoverable some other way! The rest of the puzzles were really well thought out, but getting stuck for ages only to find out I'd never have found it in a million years really puts a crimp on the whole affair. 4/5.

Under rating threshold (show) Such a potential to be good, but there's just a few things holding it back. Clues for what to do next were often vague and resulted in a lot of random clicking. With a bit of refinement this game could have been spectacular, but it feels like I'm playing as a beta tester for a friend's PNC game project instead. Could use lots of polish in some graphical areas, and also for some of the vaguer clues.

Under rating threshold (show) The puzzles were actually very good and challenging, even though I only managed to figure out the logic behind some of them after using the walkthrough. The main problem with them is that the written hints aren't clear or accurate. The nineteenth rung one, for instance - it's completely misleading. And most everything to do with the lodestone is so obscure that it's almost impossible for the average player. Just finding the lodestone, for instance, was ridiculously tedious. A hint popping up in the right room when you enter with the compass in your inventory would make it a lot better. As to the keys, the hint is way too vague and in fact is only of use when it comes to finding the lodestone. Funnily enough, the puzzle that stumped me for the longest was the in-your-face way the password is derived. I'd been faithfully following obscure clues and hints for so long that the way the password puzzle is set up came as a total non sequitur.

Under rating threshold (show) This game is fantastically crafted. It can't be solved with random clicking, and the puzzles take some real thought. There were only two minor parts that I couldn't figure out on my own, and if I hadn't given up, I might have solved them anyway. Way better than the average point-and-click puzzler.

Under rating threshold (show) Good game, but I agree that the sun plate puzzle was unreasonable. First, the clue to even find the plate is nigh impossible to find on its own. Maybe a comment about something not looking right, or something along those lines. Next, the clue does not mention from the top or from the bottom. I must have spent a good five minutes in the wrong place. And finally, the clue mentions nothing of the actually hiding place. The place is not behind what the clue says it is behind. And, one last point. Scary isn't the right word. Creepy, spooky, but not scary. Otherwise, well done. 4/5. It was very challenging, and made me think a lot. Just a little more clarity in clues could be helpful. Emphasis on little. Don't want it to be too easy...

Under rating threshold (show) I really love the overall atmosphere of the game. It has lots of interesting angles and viewpoints. I wouldn't call it "scary" per se, but it's pretty creepy. More of a mystery, I think. The puzzles were challenging, but that's to be expected. Difficulty of the puzzles themselves aside, I do have to say that there were not a lot of hints as to where I was supposed to be looking for things (in walls for example). It would have been nice to have more of a hint in that direction; perhaps a mention about hidden places? I know churches have them all the time, but still it didn't occur to me right off the bat. There were a few puzzles (i.e. lantern, constellation) that were downright Myst-like! I really could not have completed it without the walkthrough (but that's par for the course for me and puzzle games). All in all, a good time was had. I look forward to the sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) I never would have noticed the one star blinking oddly (scroll). Especially with the Casseopeia star being so blatant, the attention to detail for that one puzzle was pretty disparate from the rest of the game. Lodestone was another sticking point for me, too. The HUGE zones for the arrows were annoying, I went up & down the ladder a few dozen times by accident looking for the last plaque. Great game though, can't wait for part II. Nice work!

Under rating threshold (show) Has the potential to be a great point-and-click game, but some hidden hotspots and disorienting navigation issues make it incredibly frustrating to play without at least a few hints from outside sources. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Can some one explain to me the logic of the lantern puzzle? I have figured i need to place the lamps in order to match the constellation, but other than repeated random guess How does "Mark 705" tell me at all what to put on top of it?

Under rating threshold (show) I had an absolute blast with this. R/E the secret note, I found it by pure chance; poking at the holes in the mural seemed like "the thing to do" before I ever figured out how to access the secret passageway behind it. That being said, I'm a little random at times; there really weren't any clues that specifically pointed to doing this. Totally awesome game, in any event; I can't wait to see the sequel(s)! 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) I liked the fact that it let you think about most of the puzzles, and in general it's a good game. The only major criticism I have is the difficulty with which one navigates the chapel. Arrows often point in a great many directions, the camera angle changes sharply as you move often leading you to go back on yourself accidentally, and as for the '19th Rung' puzzle, it is all but impossible to tell which rung that is since the flick screen presentation means you have no idea how many rungs you've descended. Besides, it's not behind, it's to one side. All things equal though, pretty good.

Under rating threshold (show) Excellent mythology, looking forward to some eldritch horrors in the sequels ... (BTW, "somewhere in england" can't be Wales, it's a different country. However Wales is a good place for a chapel like this, in terms of landscape and low population. You could say "somewhere in britain" perhaps, but you'd still have to move the steering wheel over a bit!)

Under rating threshold (show) Thank you, good game!! This is MUCH better than most of the point-and-clicks. The puzzles are (almost all) logical. Using the same items more than once is also good. Two things had me stumped without the walkthrough: the note, which I never would have found, and the correct holes in which to place the keys - it could be interpreted in many different ways. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Really nice game, but I have a few criticisms. Sometimes, the dialogue box got in the way of my game. It would be much better if I could click it to make it disappear, rather than wait for it to disappear itself. The lantern puzzle was really tricky. Although you had references to Saints, I couldn't find any way to link the saints to each lantern. It became a bit of a guessing game until it hit me that the numbers on the graves were the key. Each number is a year, so put each lantern in chronological order based on the symbol the way they appear on the tablet. The key puzzle was the worst...I still don't get that, so thanks for the walkthrough.

Under rating threshold (show) It’s a nice puzzle game, but, as with many puzzle games, the plot doesn’t really make sense. Your uncle clearly knew about those things you find hidden at the end of the game. Did he lock them away there? He obviously must have known how to find the hidden plates—why weren’t THEY in the sealed envelope in the intro? Getting your help obviously wasn’t as important to him as his letter made it sound. “I cannot tell you where I am, only how to find me”—he didn’t even do that much.
