Use Newbies, then Zombies, then when you get a massive ammount of them on the field switch to Immortals, then to Iron Knights, then Dread Lourd, then to High Lords.
That's what worked for me, anyway.

Good game. Needs a few things though:
Speed up/slow down button
pause button
save button
a mode where you can set your own population per round, beginning income, income cap, and computer AI level

Okay. This game is great, but it needs to go somewhere. Just four options (easy, medium, hard, abyss) are not good enough. Look at Warlords: Call to Arms, or Gemcraft. They had a nice engine, like you have, but they took it somewhere, on an adventure across the land you know? They used an overworld, and had skillpoints you could upgrade over time. This increased the replayability of those games tenfold. Another thing, from one developer to another, change the size of that damn mofunzone link and reupload the fixed version to Kongregate, it's handicapping the minimap and is just a really newbie thing to see in your portfolio. Other than that, nice game. Not sure if you made them, but I really enjoy the animations.

neibies and samuries are equally profitable, so spaming them till supply limit looks like a good idea in the begining

Move the crappy link. It's annoying to accidently click on it and madly press the x and I'm using an xp so my window goes too.

Well, its ok but when you figure out how to manage income (spawn newbies and veterans in the 1st round 2 spawn higher forces because of royal treasury gain) then its WAY to easy also needs a story be great for a conquest game

I liked the whole consept of the war but like FatherTaylor said it does need upgrades and it would be great if it had a story, also it would be awsome if you could post more dimands rather then just having 1 or posting them as gaurds to defend the inportaint dimand

@Thriek, Abyss mode is not impossible. There is still a cap of 8k gold. Getting to 8k gold cap is the harder part of Abyss mode compared to Hard. Once you get to the 8k gold cap, difficulty drops back down to the Hard mode.

After a while, the only thing you need to know is samurai > ninja > monk > sword man > samurai. I swear, we went through this cycle about 10x before the abyss mode computer switched to a different unit other than samurai/ninja/monk/sword man.

Abyss mode actually IS impossible... the computer starts with 40 extra gold, so even if you're always spamming newbies he always has more than you.. badly balanced, but so much potential here!

They should of not added limits lol, I mean seriously I was waging army vs army the whole time til I overpowered them. -_-
