read the description and it sounded like the original dark orbit (rpg not mmo) I was very very excited, started playing and was less excited...but still enjoying the game a lot. Excellent work

I've been wanting a single player EVE game for... ever. This is close enough, and I love it. 5 stars and i'm only 5 minutes in.

Very Cool game, but now I'm into the Gorery Sector and the Stations are flying away... Would be very nice, if you could fix that. In spite of that, the game is really nice and you should go on programming. Very Cool

Thank You for the quick response.
Negative energy itself is not a big problem. Rather, the game doesn't explain "what now" once You are out of fuel. Some mention about it would be nice. (I am once again running around and battling rock, so I'm fine)

light energy cell for 84 creds in one station, sells for 150 in station in neighboring system -> 2x profit every time :3.....until you surpass largest cargo upgrade :O

Very good game but there are things that need to be rethink. The most important one being the physics of the spacheship. We are in in space, not bound by gravity, so why the hell can't we can't we rotate ? Why can't we perform elusive maneuver ? Spaceship feels more like a car than anything space related. Command are unintuitive, there should be an option to configure them or at least one to inverse y axis. It's a real pain and almost impossible to engage pirates in manual flight. Only choice left is to play sitting duck in autopilot, not really funny. On top of that auto targeting is dumb, he will always go for the strongest ship, instead of the closest one. At least give us the choice. What's the point of being able to launch 6 missiles at once without multi targetting ? Why am I forced to choose a target so that my weapon can charge ? Just clicking on them should be enough. We need hotkey to activate module. Your game has a huge potential but there is still a lot of work to do.

just amazing.....beautiful visuals and music. The depth, graphics and game play are so well done it is impressive. 5/5...great updates

Here I am, in space, my energy being -75 and counting down, no fuel. Cargo full of good stuff, no pirates and I'm wondering "what now?".
Do I have to restart ?
Edit: Turns out, putting autopilot to "off" made my ship's energy regen.
Also a few notes. Game is good, needs more polish though.
The font doesn't work. It's hard to read and my eyes hate me for playing this game so long. Probably works for titles, but definitely not for text.
The UI needs a bit (or even a bit more) touch. It's currently ... clunky. A bit more softer edges and maybe softer colors. The colored statusbars are quite fine.
The stars are... funny.
Gameplay itself so far is nice, but then again -75 energy takes a bit to regen, so I haven't been anywhere yet, but I'll get there.
Keep it up, nice game but You can make it better.

Think mine is stuck. Have objectives Mine and Refine, Upgrade, and kill pirate officers. Killed all in the first "zone", all recon in second but no officers, and they kept respawning like there was supposed to be an officer. Do I just keep going?
all station names, map names, rock placements and station counts.... basically each map is randomly created for that individual game. you wont get 2 the same.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is generally excellent, but I seem to have reached a point where nothing further happens except random missions. Bastan has two warp games leading to Gorekol, Gorekol has two warp gates leading back to Bastan, and as far as I can tell, there's nowhere else to go. I got the achievement for killing the Gate Keeper from the last pirate I took down, but there appears to be nothing more that happens.

Addendum: After some experimenting I find that the afterburner doesn't cut out when you reach docking distance. This allows the ship to approach closer than intended, and start pushing the station away. Go AFK for a moment while returning to base, and you return to find yourself trailing the station away from the star...

Great Game :) i love the way every thing looks. however, i guess i am a bit spoiled by space games, the only couple of things that are bugging me, no docking animations, no Modules or upgrade models on the ship, i would be great to have the ship change every time you get an upgrade, and the ship spinning awkwardly to target pirates, instead of that it would be great to have the cannon models target and rotate with the ship. other than that everything is beautifully made, i know its easier to criticize than to make a game, but with the issues that i mentioned above i am afraid the game will not last for me, and all the stations seem to have exactly same interior. If you are really keen on making this game a bomb. i suggest to work on the points that i covered. Homeworld 1,2 can be a great example. BUT GREAT JOB i gave this game a 5 star rating. hoping to see improvements.

One thing I'd like to see, when I'm fighting pirates I dock weapons hot. When I come out my weapons always have to be switched back on. I'd like to come out weapons hot as well.

i'm completely amazed with this game, only problem i can see is while traveling in manual mode and going for a distance you slowly drift to the right, other than that amazing game and i plan to play it for quite a while longer maybe not stopping much lol.

Great Game, Some suggestions. A bit more complexe trading system maybe so trading isn't just one way hauls so you can carry a commodity and have it be viable to purchase at the base you sold at for a return trip. Also maybe increase the total value of asteroids in a system but remove them respawn when you warp zones. This will make it so you cannot just fully kit up by swapping between the first 2 zones respawning the roids just jumping back and forth.

Umm. Please help? Somehow my ship, while on autopilot, bumped into one of the stations, set it moving, and now it's leaving the solar system...
(Corvette, using medium afterburner, if that helps)

First of all, LOVE THIS GAME. Great job and thank you.
Second, when I buy upgraded hull plating, I have to pay to 'repair' my hull up to the new maximum. Minor, but annoying little bug.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@rimacy: You have to put the afterburner on the weapon slots (which are considered "active", as you have to activate the aferburner or the shield repair)

I have probably played every single game on ArmorG and Kong. This has got to be the most well built game I have ever played. I love it. The music reminds me of Homeworld, the UI of Eve.

Great game, although is there an offline version online? Unity kinda takes long to load and I would also like to play this when I am on trips and has no access to the internet.

I love this game and I like the new autobuy option.
I personally lack a starsystem in the job desciption. I have no idea where the mission will take me.
I also didnt complete the tutorial and I have no idea what to do now as the mission just dissapeared ...

Nice game: 5/5 - btw: I like how the creator of this game used a blender for the 3d effects (as stated in the credits)...

I have a few suggestions: make better mining lasers (I wouldn't mind if you could at least use combat weapons the mine, but you should be able to improve your mining rate), make a page that shows prices of weapons/upgrades and for selling minerals (it's hard to keep it all in your head, and a chart to organize it would be really helpful), and make a way to regenerate shields, because that is normally the way shields work in a game (as it is, Shields are just an extension of the hull, they even have to be repaired.) I'm still rating it 5/5 though.

Most excellent effort, this makes me pine for a full fledged revamp of Homeworld. Hope somebody spots your talents soon, all the best!

Game needs some serious balancing. 1. Trading is too effective. Had 500k after 30min in sector 4 or 5. Limit stock and reduce price spread. 2. Some addons make ship base numbers unimportant, especially in early levels. Increase base values and reduce early addonbonus 3. Battles in the last sectors are hide in base, shoot some bullets and hide again. Repeat 50 times or more. Increase endgame equipment stats, introduce some ways for massdestruction (maybe missiles stonger and aoe but way more expensive). 4. Game curve is broken. Good stuff should be available only in the last sectors, reduce number of asteroids drastically, increase mining speed for better equipment. Each sector I discover should have something new for me, keeps me going on. (Now i skipped most level and rushed to the last one, because I didnt see any reason not to). You could also introduce one misson for each sector before you can advance. Keep going, the game is nice and has potential.

momoguru... I'm an old school gamer... (atari days, I show my age lol) and want ya to know... this is by far one of the best games I've plaed on KONG... no big multiplayer mayhem or pay to win type stuff.... damn good detail on textures...easy to learn... how to do things in it...
I've added to my favorites and playlist...
keep up the good work!
my only.. ONLY concern is in the Job screen where some of the text is cut off.. and an improvement , if possible, would to be able to select jobs... "highlight them" by clicking on them... so you could read said text.. or..
even would give distance to target station who needs supplies... whether that be in KMs or in Systems away (i.e. station is 3 warps away.. or.. 2 systems away.. )...
either way... I give 2 thumbs up and a big toe.. because I dont have a 3rd thumb to do as such
:D

Awesome game, some things I would like to see: Pirates respawning after you kill the last one, maybe after you leave the system and come back? Also maybe some equipment drops from Pirates would be cool.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Now that I can run it I can see one thing wrong with this game... it's on kongregate and not being sold on steam or some website. I honestly would not mind paying $10 for this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
On 2nd thought, an indication of which areas you have eliminated the pirates from and where you have not would be cool. Same if there are no more minerals.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game is quite good, but i think there is a few things that u must improve (ofcourse imo)
1) i'm used to fly inverted, it would be great
2) it's hard to catch up pirates in dog fight cuz outer view angle is completely independent and when i rotate the camera to the pirate i'm losing navigation of the ship ( sometimes it takes a few seconds to realize that it's inverted :) ), in cockpit view it's easy to navigate but when pirate leaves the screen its too hard to catch it up again. ( maybe you can add an indicator shows at which direction the target is ).
but the game is still good. (4/5 btw)

It may just be me, but if there could be a way to see in the market if something is an upgrade compared to what you have, that would be helpful.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fantastic Game! The only addition I can suggest is an upgrade or equipment merging option for mining equipment and offensive equipment. I am blown away by the level of care and detail in this game. Well done.

Really enjoyed this game up until about area 10 when I began to notice that there didn't seem to be any more upgrades. At that point, the thought of going through another 11 levels seemed too grindy. Great game though, 4/5
