WOW! GREAT Job This could be the next big space mmo if it had a grapic update, I got this bug where my hull metter goes all the way across my screen into my fuel metter, happen when i picked up the hull upgrade from the pirate boss on 2nd system.

I think this game would be much more fun with a type of level up system to boost base "player" stats like mine speed or attack strength, speed etc

I love this game!
I know zzxxzz3 already mentioned this, but your latest changes have shrunk the max asteroid size in my existing save. I used to find ~400 size asteroids, now the largest I come across is ~90, and most are under 50. This makes the game take MUCH longer to progress, and it seems disheartening to have to create a new file after the time I've spent on this one.
i know it sucks, it is the downside of community development. be aware though, the new options allow you to pick start ship and credits, as well as make rock giant!

1: The game needs lowering object detail with distance relative to objects size and game speed. My game seriously slows down (not just FPS) on zoom out when there's max asteroids and max pirates spawned (with max presets). 2: It would be nice to change screen resolution in fullscreen. 3: The asteroids have sizes not proportional to their value (asteroid with 80 units is like scout, while 270 looks like a space station), and shrink visually linearly in diameter instead of relative to their mass (the shrinking speed should accelerate with less mass).

It would be nice if we could click on a part in the market and see if it's better or worse then what we currently have equiped, like make the number green if it's better and red if it's worse. Right now, I soemtimes have to switch tabs to see what my scanner's range is, or what my engine's thrust is.

I doubt there is anything that can be done with it, but the only problem I have is my habit of trying to leave a section of a space station, namely market or garage, using escape... which closes full screen, making me go back to options to put it back into full screen.

Great game, didn't have that much fun since playing ELITE. But clearly needs a "direction to target" indicator for manual 1st person dogfights

ARGH! just lost several hours worth of progress because Unity crashed... i'm guessing it was because a new build was implemented >:( annoying!!! apart from that very awesome game

What is the point of requiring us to activate our equipment? I can't tell that there is any kind of drain from having them turned on. Can understand why you might not want to shoot a bunch of missiles for no reason, but why wouldn't I want my mining laser turned on?

just an idea, but maybe be able to hire a crew, and your ship size determines how many people, also, can you change how the equip stuff works? like some ships can have 2 engines (or more), some ships can have more than one energy core thing, etc. including cargo bays. i just think it would make more sense, also maybe add a special slot to every ship that you can equip an extra of ANYTHING you want, sortof like asking what your specialty is, meaning if my ship has 3 energy slots, i can equip a forth energy item. just a thought, cause getting upgraded ships still doesnt help tons just yet, but i think that would make your game very unique.
nice, so if respawn option is off, when u clear a system, its text turns green or something. and why not show colored text for hazard level, so you know what systems are filled with harder pirates.

i have to say this game is pretty fun and quite addicting, my only complaint is that when you beat an officer, the scouts should just spawn away from the portal, so you cant be barraged traveling, and that the officer respawns when you kill all the scouts just for lores giggles

Drastically changing the game settings and telling players they have to start a new game to change them back is a great way to get people not to play. I invested ~5 hours in a save, then come back today to see asteroids are 6-7x smaller, and I have to re-kill every single pirate I've already killed...
i fixed that in build 11, i put respawning OFF default. and asteroid size is back up as default. less impact on currently running games. however, build 11 also lets you pick starting ship and credits...so porting over to another map isn't so bad. im considering a pilot profile that can switch maps.

bug: pirate officiers dont spawn - a couple of normal pirates spawn instead (no msg about incoming pirates and they spawn at the exact moment of eliminating the last pirate ship)

It would really help to be able to sequence the way guns fire. It doesn't help for all the heavy weapons to fire and exhaust themselves on a tiny target just for the ship to have to wait to reload while the bigger enemies take shots at it.

What happened to the officers entering the sector when you clear it out? Now all i get is wave upon wave of never ending baddies. That said I still LOVE this game.

Seems to be a wee bug with stacking shield boosters, they don't add together. Instead only the lowest quality one will repair the shield. But all shield boosters will use energy

...also - all weapoons should have dmg listed in the market. It would also be nice if fuel, energy and so on, had a x out of max. lvl gauge. Tx.

Love it! Gave me the Eve-feel. Great game with high playability, and a great backdrop, simple but good. The atmosphere u've created is outstanding, and the music sets it off - I wonder; is this what it was like? When Batty watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate? (My fave movie - and u give me that notion. Superb.)
However: I'd like to be able to access news and certain other menus while I am out mining/ hunting pirates. U r still developing, right?!

Great game. Really enjoying it. Just two things I have noticed.
1. Asteroids in the target list often do no correspond to the ones that I see on the screen, i.e. the labels are wrong at times.
2. If I buy a hull upgrade and have no been damaged previously I still have to "repair" my ship to get the additional armor points that the new plates give me.
this is due to the update win criteria now being an option you set. in 15 minutes, you will be able to create a new game, setup the WIN options, and set your starting ship and startup cash.

I noticed that you still fire all ship weapons on a destroyed ship. My idea is that there could be a tiny interval between the firing of weaponry. Like,you fire a dual laser,but the others don't shoot at the exact same time. There could be a firing delay between weapons like 0.1 seconds if possible. This would get over the problem of having to identify whether the enemy is destroyed that would arise if they were set to fire only the number of weapons needed to destroy the target. Yes,it still doesn't get over the missile and projectile problem,but it'd be a help even if only on the beams.
im doing a morning update here in about an hour, ill set the default closer to where it was. just fyi, these are all options you can change in game creation. im even adding start-up cash options in build 11.

Not sure if it's because of the update, but I just had all the pirates come back in my current sector when I loaded this morning. Also all my asteroids had under 100 hp.
yes, the new galaxy options allow for customization. the default is now respawn on (so you can farm rare drops from bosses) and the default rocks size is lower . again, all these options can be changed when you create a new game.

Slightly Increase the Mining Laser per Shot Gains. Even with 3 AstroPik 9000's 570 Cargo Takes awhile to Fill up The Lokken at 1.162791 Ore mined per shot. It's going to get worse with Higher capacity Cargo Pods installed

I know you had a big update last night. But after i loaded the game today, i got an achievement for killing the 'Gate Keeper' and im only half-way though the game.
its because any game started before the new custom galaxy options, no longer has the same WIN criteria... which you can now setup on game creation. create a new game, on an empty slot, you will see what i mean.

if you reload the page you get new fuel and a little question why is there fire on top of the bases cuzz actually for fire you need oxygen and there's no oxygen in space

I was playing the game in full screen mode and when I reduced it, all my progress was gone...right back to the beginning. I had all my achievements, but the quests/tasks started all over.
