this actually reminds me of X3 more than homeworld. I must be stupid because I cannot for the life of me find the toggle for the pirates to respawn. Maybe my save is too old or it's because I've already killed them all...Ah well maybe I'll start a new save from scratch ;D 5/5 faved!

This is a wonderful game, it feels good to play, and doesn't really seem to get boring. It seems to be just the right pace. Damn well done.

besides jobs not paying enough to justify buying the luxury goods for example or being too far from the source to be profitable(even purely solar power), my original save made 3 days ago doesn't spawn any officers at systems 11-20, only more mobs, 1 or 2 every time i kill them. also good advice to get the batle lasers tehy kill fast and most cost efficiently.

Hey Momo, another bug: When I start mining, can't tell if always or sometimes, the asteroid is moving very slowly away from the ship (because I have 0 speed, on manual). On autopilot, that means the ship constantly accelerates and stops to keep up, and there goes the energy (which was increasing by just mining). It used to start doing this yesterday, no idea at which build.

Also, would be cool to create todo lists! Such as go to this rock, mine it, when full return to station. :) Thank you so much for not making it a dumb multiplayer game! Miss games like these.

Hmm, everytime I go back to level 9 there's always a new Astrox Commander. And I can't seem to get any other level bosses. Any suggestions?

Oops! Ok, MOMOGURU.....came across something that I didn't like. Why did you feel you had to have one of the characters use the term "G__damn"(?) That just hits me as sad because it is so unnecessary......

Obviously the ships and upgrades available at each location are random, but is there any guarantee that they're all available *somewhere*? I'm on my second play through, but none of the sites have the Carrier available (which makes getting all the in-game achievements impossible.

is this game bug or why my lasers wont start mining? tutorial says only that click on lasers to activate them and start mining, but nothing happens.

Great game! I have a lot of trouble controlling the ship when the auto-pilot is off because I lose where the top and bottom of the ship are (making turning up and down really confusing). If there was some way to lock one axis of the camera so that it's the same as the vertical axis of the ship will make it incredibly easier to control it. Also, I personally prefer inverted vertical axis and an option for that will be greatly appreciated. Other than that, it's awesome!

I guess the only thing I don't like about this game are the indirect controls. Everything works by clicking. The direct controls are more a nuisance than really useful. See, my first experience when it comes to space games was Colony Wars: Red Sun and I have always liked games in that vein. In my opinion, controlling a space ship should be a bit like flying a plane and combat should reflect that to some extent; dogfighting, trying to get the rear position and so on. In this game, all that is missing, because the autopilot does everything. I'd like more direct controls. I guess, using the mouse for basic controls, W and S for controlling thrust, and A and D for rolling would work just fine. I don't dislike the autopilot. It's great for navigating and mining, but the combat is just boring to me. Click, wait, repeat...

i've killed the astro comannder about 8 times but the objectives for killing all pirate officers doesn't complete and when i try to go past lvl 10 onto lvl 11 i kill all the pirates in that area but no pirate officer spawns, is this a bug?

A very minor bug to report: when undocking, sometimes the ship will travel backwards with a negative engine use, which adds fuel.

The description for Consumer Goods says that it contains "a vast array of unless life trinkets." I think you meant "useless" or "useful."

How are jobs supposed to work please? My experience, having entered the station, clicking Jobs will show a list. There's no way to interact with this list except scrolling. Seems a fun feature, please help, thanks!

i have a bit of a problem: i went afk, thinking opening the menu would pause the game. now my ship is roughly 5 light years (479000km) outside the system. any suggestions on what to do?

I don't know what I like most at this point: the amazing gameplay, the awesome graphics and attention to details, or the fact that the developer keeps updating the game with a constant flow of fixes and new goodies!
i havent even gotten to the new goodies yet, been fixing crap and fine tuning. but oh, they are coming. and when they do, it will be fast. like a ton of stuff in 1 update.

So, after a few hours of playing through this delight there's a few things that I've picked up which may be of interest.
The autopilot is less than great. It gets stuck bouncing off stations when undocking (sometimes), and for some reason decides stopping in combat is a really great idea.
Which leads us to the reason the autopilot is being used in combat - the up/down controls are backwards. Pressing down tilts the nose of the ship down, and this is the opposite of how I'd expect something like this to work - pressing down is usually associated with "pulling back" on the stick ie: tilting the nose up.
Perhaps a choice in the options for either flight or standard controls?
It would be super-useful if the target listings displayed the current modifier for stations, yields of asteroids, and HP of pirates. Sorting by proximity would be nice too, but would probably only be worth doing for asteroids.

Awesome game! Great concept,great visuals, physics are good. You can physically fly through some things, like the warp gate, will that change? Any plans on adding collision damage to hard targets?

Second suggestion: we should be able either to sell any of goods on stations or have information what kind of goods what station buys. There was time when I decided to trade betwen stations, I bought some water but when I reached near station I realized it won't buy it. The same was with the next one so I just had to scrap it because I already lost any possible profit from refueling my ship. That was actually frustrating, to be honest.
the NEWS tab in station willl become CENTER, the social center that has news, npc tips and minin missions, a trade liason that gives you chucks of data about different station prices and such. i will be doing alot to make trading a more indepth part. same with pilot view flight.

im not pleased with the fact you cannot select what weapon you are selling in the market. it seems to select the weapon that is fitted on your ship before it sells the ones not installed. it also does not diferentiate between normal weapons and rare or artifact weapons. i have now accidently sold artifact laser and artifact missle :(
