Check the issue with save games:
1) start game with one race, one char name
2) win one game, get one medal
3) exit to main menu
4) create new char on another save slot with another race and another name
5) New char has 3rd level and one medal
..................... 6) win one more game with second char 7) second char has 2 medals, 3rd lvl, first char has 1 medal, 3rd lvl

Sorry if that sounds that bad :( But that crap usually gets 1*, something you can play, but hard and with bugs 2*, something you can spend an hour or two+ playing 3*, good to get back again and again 4*, some outstanding -- 5*. Nothing personal. I've seen that you were making changes whole day, but it's just what it is. Some modifications to interface (for example just one-click on empty space where your ships still can't fly deselects ships) and this will be 3-4* for sure. ;) I'll get back to this game again.

Well, Read following comments and my comment on what to add to make interface more user (gamer) friendly ;) I really do like the idea, but too much of unneeded clicking for unit-spamming game is not too good. So keep up and you can get good place here. Good work overall.
i don't disagree with your criticism, and you can see i take the feedback seriously and have spent all day implementing suggestions and fixing bugs. but it is very disheartening to look at some of the games on this site that imo are complete crap, only to find this right there with them. 2/5 felt like a kick in the nuts.

there is a game difficulty bug, the ennemys piratyes or not always build heavy fleets and verry quickly like in thez fist 20 sec of game, it is like the game cheats xD unplayable but nice game !

1) add possibility to manage planets on pause 2) add possibility to add "governor" -- automatic planet development according to some plan (you can see Imperium Galactica game for sample) 3) Why can pirates attack me across whole map and I can't do the same? 4) add infinite building for ships. I need 100 fighters. It's just too tiring to click so many times 5) add gathering point for ships (auto-send to another planet) ................ The reason for these comments is that it is real-time game and it is too hard to micro-manage all the stuff
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Given it many tries, but between forgotten skills, vanishing medals, and disappearing fleets, it's still just too buggy. No rating. I'll come back in a few more versions.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmmmmm.......it could use a better means of de-selecting fleets than clicking on them again. I don't want to think about how many times I accidentally sent a fleet to a different planet with an incoming attack because I forgot to click it again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You have to have the ships launched to protect your planet, so you have to wait before sending out any new probes or scouts. Multiple fleet designations, please.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be nice if there was an option to keep mass-producing specific shipstypes, without having to click manually, as long as you have the necessary resources. Same for technologies (auto-research everything till level x, etc).

Bombing a planet is horribly slow. I've had a fleet of hundreds of bombers over a planet for almost 30 minutes, am constantly upgrading plasma (even if they try to forget it at an amazing rate. Random events are too frequent) have killed several times the max population of the planet, but they just ignore the orbital bombardment and almost hold pace with the bombing in pop growth. TL; DR: Increase bombing speed. By alot.

First impressions: you're on to something good here, but it needs a lot of polishing. There's already plenty of comments about the tutorial, but here's some other suggestions: 1) In the "Fleets" section, tell us which fleet is stationed at which planet, or where they are headed. 2) Have an indicator next to enemy fleets as to how big they are. 3) Make it more clear what upgrades are global and which only apply to one planet. 4) Have an easy-to-find indicator of what the global upgrade totals are. 5) Instead of clicking event notifications to make them go away, how about clicking on them to read them?

Could use a pause button, the population and taxes info on planets are bugged and show NaN all the time, credits always display 0
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So an enemy fleet invaded me immediately during my tutorial. Having the tutorial windows telling me the basicas seems pretty moot when an army strength 300 fleet is sieging me. :/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could be a fun game, and I am intrigued, but there are still issues with the tutorial (it continues to pop up after I click Planet 1, it goes away when I go into the Settings and retoggle the tutorial button on then off again). The other big issue I have is how do I make multiple fleets? I don't want all of my probes and scouts in the same fleet as my fighters and bombers I have guarding my planet, but I can't figure out any way to independently launch them. If I have to watch a 15 minute video just to figure it out, I will most likely just move on.

Promising game, but some bugs still need to be ironed out. The tutorial won't GTFO even after i set it to 'don't show' in the options (keeps popping back up every time i click a new planet or hit the "i" button on the task bar), my credits stay at zero though I know i have them as does my population(can still build) my taxation and pop growth are stuck at NaN. Using firefox and the most up to date adobe flash if that helps

+the button to turn off tutorial doesn't work, it says "off" but the tutorial still pops up.
This game is bugged as f***, but the idea is great
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You should make a different world for tutorial, because first time I played I got destroyed by pirates during tutorial, also, when the tutorial is finished it keeps restarting forever.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i havent played the game in the middle of the tutorial, and im thinkin "this is boring.." 14 minutes for a tutorial, the reason i stayed watching bcoz i know this would be a great game, so try to remove that video and put like a tutorial "levels" with pop up instructions or sumting so i can actually play the game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sorry, but it doesn't seem that the tutorial is fixed after all. There is a blank unclickable button that says "Tutorial" but the tutorial is still there.

About speed slider - can't see any (tried to clear cache - no luck).
But i guess it's better to plece it not in "Settings" section, but on the main play screen. For a player to see the current game speed and to adjust it any second. There are moments when i need almost zero speed (several planets - uhoh .. like juggling ) and moments when one is bored of waiting.
Yep, usability is a bitter thing :) Good luck in polishing the game.

No I didn't watch the video. I agree a game with this much depth needs a tutorial mode, most people will not watch a 15 minute youtube video to learn to play a flash game. Also I think what I encountered may just be a bug. If a shipyard is what is missing, the ships page will not tell you that is what you need on mouseover like it will for everything else.

tutorial. Have to have a tutorial for a game this complex. Saying go to Youtube isn't enough. This coul be an excellent game, but I think Flash player window is too small. It's very hard to see what is going on in this small frame.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like it overall, but you are going overkill with resource generator building options and civil research options, you should simplify them (maybe cram a few into the same upgrade) some kind of autosending for resources from one planet to another and shouldnt technology be shared by all planets?
certain aspects of technology is shared across all planets... but for building ships, the required tech is planet specific. you can use frigates to transport resources, as well as steal resources from other planets.
keep in mind that the 'tech' not only represents the known-how, but also the physical hardware required to use it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like it could be very good, but I can't figure out how to play. Everything needs more explanation. I quit when I couldn't figure out how to build ships for 10 minutes, though I had all the resources listed.

1) Game is great - reminds of MOO and MOO2
2) Still some improvements required - speed button(slider) from very slow game to ultra-fast(please).
3) 5 out of 5.
i expect to do about 10 or so updates as players give their feedback. after that, i will remove the word from the login screen. thanx for checking it out though :)
