The distance of 600 happened to be unreachable. So me and my groupies decided to commit group suicide... Ok, it was the decision of only myself. Anyway, I got bagded for that.

Need to get in at the flag, for the full bar, then hit up again at the launch of the ramp. Fill both of those, keep your nose at a good angle up and go flat on the way down, I managed to get 759. No groupies or tricks everything else maxed.

timing is everything in this little grinder: 1) press right arrow once to start. 2)watch the cart as you get to the pole and time pressing up arrow to get in the cart at that time - little red meter shows how close you are for optimal effect. 3) press up once at the edge of the ramp for a solid lift-off. 4) buy all the upgrades and practice good landings. practice tricks without a cart full of groupies so as to not waste money when you crash. 5) with the cart loaded and all upgrades, work on your timing with button pushing and try to get even flight (cart level or horizontal and engine going..) as soon as possible - if you are going into space, you haven't pressed right arrow button soon enough for distance after pressing the up arrow for launch. 6) you should get the distance badge after a few more tries. 7) crash cart for dropping loads badge after distance badge, then work on stunts.

After getting best rocket and wheels, aim up for a little bit after launch, then straight right when you're in the dark blue to add acceleration. You'll get over 600.

It's funny that I can't remember a lot of good games I've played on kong through the years, but whenever there's a badge for a game I didn't like (possibly because it isn't good) I have no trouble remembering how awful it was to play it for the badges.

To go far, make sure you hit the jump in cart and jump as good as possible, then make sure to stay as diagonal as possible while rising, then as straight as possible when falling.
To get 1800 points, again get both the max jump in and jump, then aim straight upwards while doing handstands (over and over, don't hold) until the boost runs out, then hold left while doing handstands when the boost runs out. It doesn't matter if you crash.(You can hold too, but then you have to time letting go the handstand)

Note: Groupies reset if you crash, and you need all three in your cart at once for the badge. If you're worried about having to start over, save up your money and buy all three upgrades at once.

Just got a distance of 734.1 with 2 groupies after doing a superman when all other times I managed to break the 450 distance mark has been due to having no groupies! This game has no logic!!!!

611 metres and BOTD - how did i get that? No groupies, all other features maxed out, nearly max speed when I jumped in the trolley, and superman during the bit of flight from ramp to first bounce - plus a lot of LUCK!

This game blows chunks! No matter how hard I try or what I do I can't get more than 545 for distance. That was a one time fluke that I can't even repeat. Doing the same thing over and over without knowing what I am doing wrong is boring and frustrating. Once I am maxed out on everything I am really done. I don't want the badge that bad.

5 years later, I decided to get the hard badge...and that was kinda easy lol. Just max out everything except for groupies and when in the air, just do one inverse flip while doing multiple handstands in the air. When landing, you will have the opportunity to do 1 or 2 handstand due to the bounce and will get the required score.

For 1800 combo, you can pull it off by making full backward flip+handstand (start with handstand and constantly hold it till backflip is counted -then whole handstand is counted two times) +lucky landing with bounce and another handstand. The tricky part is good launch and getting bounce. Good luck ;P

If you bought the trick and whatever combination of arrow you try it's still not working, try playing using num pad. It worked for me:)

To get the Going the Distance achievement, ditch the groupies and run solo, try to land with the wheels flat, and cross your fingers. The groupies add score modifier, but they also add weight and slow you down.

How could one describe this game??? I would rate it along side ET for the Atari.....yes that seems fitting. I should be placed along side ET and buried somewhere in the desert never to see the light of day ever again.

I'm actually baffled at how poorly this game aged. For those hating on this game because of, well, a lot of reasons, be aware that it was one of the first major Flash games. It's venerable, quite possibly the first real "launch" style game. And that's why basic aspects of launch games are missing here - grandaddy gets a free pass.

What you have to do guys to get 600+ is jump in to your cart at the point which gives as close to a full red bar indicator on the screen. Also, try jump at the marker and aim for a 45 degree angle through flight, then land flat as possible and ride the ground evenly. The red bar is the most critical thing to achieve to get over 600.

30 or 40 runs of cant break 430 then suddenly a run of 766. for those of you who have not figured it out the groupies are usless.
