Under rating threshold (show) what is the 'slumbering giant' a picture of?

+ - !

(5)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

It's one of a peaceful race of gigantic creatures that roam the skies of Kaetherya where the winds of magic are particularly strong. Despite being mostly harmless they are a very unwelcome sight by the crews and captains of any airship as they often herald the coming of a nasty storm.

Under rating threshold (show) I had all of the indices greyed, but it said my puzzle wasn't complete. After I removed some "x" boxes, one of the rows returned to color, then I was able to complete the puzzle

+ - !

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

Some of the features in the last update introduced a new bug to the way numbers fade. We're trying to get it fixed for the next update.

Under rating threshold (show) I find it sort of difficult to differenciate Brown from Black in this game... could anything be done about it, or is it just my eyesight?

+ - !

(0)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

You can change any of the colours by clicking again on a selected colour (on the palette). The allows you to turn brown into bright yellow if need be.

Under rating threshold (show) Can you add the option to completely remove numbers which are solved from the 'PLUS'? Or make the unsolved numbers stand out much better from solved ones and the colored squares. It is really hard to see, if what do you still need when you are at some hard puzzle with lots of ones and twos, some solved, some unsolved.

+ - !

(7)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

We can't remove them completely as that would interfere with some of the logic and make tiny mistakes that could otherwise be fixed into catastrophic failures. We'll see if we can fade them out more without impacting playability.

Under rating threshold (show) Is it possible to find specific size puzzles? For example, I would like to see all 50x50 in one place.

+ - !

(6)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

You can filter puzzles in the "NEW" tab, not specifically by 50x50 but into a few size categories as well as mono and multi-colour.

Under rating threshold (show) On picma links, everytime I finish a puzzle, its square is white. Sorry, I dont know how to explain it :P

It's a known bug that we're trying to reproduce and fix. Hopefully we'll have it resolved in the next update!

Under rating threshold (show) Can I save the puzzles that I create and play them later? I couldn't find that option but I sort of took it for granted when I created one.

+ - !

(1)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

Sorry, but the actual puzzles are only generated after the moderation process is finished. The algorithms that create the puzzles are very resource intensive.

Under rating threshold (show) I miss the "What If?" feuture from the first game. Could you add something similar here?

+ - !

(1)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

We tweaked the puzzle creation algorithm since the first game. Now it makes sure that the "What if?" mode is never required to complete any puzzle. This has the added bonus of making most puzzles less frustrating to solve as you never really have to wonder if it needs you to go into "2º degree logic" or if you're just missing something more obvious than that.

Under rating threshold (show) you can find an example of fullscreen mode handled by kongregate in the game swords and potion 2. You can do it!

Sadly we can't. Unity and iframe games can, but Picma is neither.

Under rating threshold (show) The colour schemes are killing this for me. I'm colourblind and having a lot of difficulty telling the difference between several of the colour choices within individual puzzles.

+ - !

You can enable a colourblind mode in the options or change any of the colours individually by clicking on them on the palette twice.

Under rating threshold (show) One of the levels was the level from the tutorial. And I feel like I've played some of these levels before in your other game or on your main site.

+ - !

(0)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

While the game cannot share accounts with our website it shares content. We have about 28k puzzles at the time of this comment but it's perfectly reasonable to find the same puzzle on both "sides". We were however careful not to re-use any of the free puzzles of previous games in the free sets of this one.

Dec. 04, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) First of all, this game is cool. Although I try to avoid games with paid content, I play it for 2 weeks now because I really, really like it. I also like how the developers answer to almost all comments, and try to improve their work. Good job! But now some requests... More colors please! Number of colors that we can use to draw a puzzle should be raised to 10, and there should be more available colors overall. I don't know if this is doable, but it would allow us to create more interesting and better puzzles. Vote up if you share my opinion.

+ - !

(2)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

We limit the number of available colours per puzzle because they quickly make them too easy to solve and a bit of a hassle as well (despite all the shortcuts for changing colours). Adding more colours to the palette itself is rather tricky. They need to be different enough not to cause confusion and there aren't many interesting tones available that wouldn't conflict with any of the existing colours. Having said that, we may revisit the palette later on.

Under rating threshold (show) It looks like a nice game but I can't play it. I managed to get through the tutorial but then it displays a loading icon and stays like this forever. It's the same thing for every category I try. I have tried to clear the cache, wait a day and everything but it's still not working.

Under rating threshold (show) The new scaling on the hints at the bottom and right-hand side of the screen to tell you what the row and column you're working on require is such a wonderful improvement. Thanks for the update! (And also for replying to my comment; I assumed the devs would be too busy to do so.)

+ - !

(2)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

Thanks! We're going to tweak them to be a bit bigger by default as some people felt they were too small to read properly, but we'll keep the scaling working so that they will never get cut by the screen.

Under rating threshold (show) Even though there is a lot of paid content I feel there also is a really large amount of unpaid content - especially where all the paid content can be accessed for free over time basically. I love the game and think it's a bit ridiculous how much people are complaining about the paid content... if this game was just the free content and with the same number of levels no one would be complaining since there are a lot of free levels... I really appreciate the fact that we can access the paid content without paying. One thing I don't like though is that the user created levels cost to play as well, I don't think those should. 5/5

Dec. 03, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) I don't know why you thought it would be a good idea to make the hints at the right and bottom of the screen that indicate which colors a row or column needs a fixed size was a good idea. Even in cinematic mode it's impossible to see the entirety of the largest puzzles and now the only way to know what colors you need has been rendered useless at those sizes.

+ - !

(0)

Developer response from MoonberryStudios

We'll have that fixed in a few hours.

Under rating threshold (show) For the large puzzles (30x30 or more) I found that even with the zoom, the game simply became unpleasant to play due to the small area. Needs a full screen option badly.

Just "Vote on Puzzles" to earn 4 Coins per day in less than a minute. These are enough to play up to 4 small puzzles or one of the largest available.
