I think it'd be better if in supervised mode, when you have a line with correct number of filled blocks and at correct order, the line as a whole should have X on empty blocks, so that I don't have to do it one by one, especially on harder levels.

Thomasonacid: When I first saw an advert for Mario Picross in Games magazine, I assumed it was the fake ad. (Every issue at the time had a "find the fake ad.")

Ok, played this up to the grand master levels. Seriously need to do something with the colours. The white/grey thing is practically unreadable and gave me a headache. Could ruin a great game for small things like this.

In love! I'm a total picture logic addict since my first paint by numbers as a wee one, and this is a great rendering of it!

A very fun game with nice/relaxing/ unobtrusive music. However, there are some issues with ease of scrolling on the larger pictures, and the 'helpful' aspect of the numbers dropping down to show you which numbers are what for each column gets confusing, as the columns next to it drop down as well making it difficult to distinguish which numbers you are trying to find..

So I just spent 30-45 minutes doing the last level and I've finally filled in every square but it won't accept that I've won? I've been looking around for any more missing squares for the last 10 minutes and I honestly think I have them all. Was fun at first but this is pissing me off. 3/5

Great game, the extra colours add a new level of difficulty. One thing though, you need to change is so that if you finish a line without using markers, the numbers ghost anyway.

A genious must have made this creative and original game-it incorporates logic, good gameplay, and it adds a place for people to make their own... all in all its great...

It's actually more like Armor Picross with added color than Sudoku. In fact, it is almost nothing like Sudoku other than the fact that it uses logic and there are squares.

my first impressions was that it would be total shyt. & was it total shyt? no. this game actually impressed me & my high standards. it wasn't random clicking accompanied by bs hints. it made u think for yourself (as most people should.) ingenius is the best way to describe this very game

Babysquid4448 - So, you completely missed the About screen where the dev talks about the origins of Nonograms and decided it must have been ripped off, huh? =D

I love Picross, and I'm happy that you made this game! ... but it's not perfect. Having to click something in the bottom left to change color/put in X's is annoying. I also think that the numbers on the outside should fade when all the squares they point toward are filled in, instead of how it is at the moment: those squares must be filled in, and all blank spots require X's before the number(s) on the outside will fade. Anyway, 4/5

Oh, and it's an OK game to me. Graphics are nice, music is about what I'd expect. The feel of the game is a little weak, though - too easy to mis-click and get a penalty. Also, on the larger levels, the position of the compass for scrolling about the map is much much too close to the edge of the stage. Overall, unimpressive IMHO, but not bad either.

The term for these kinds of puzzles is "nonogram", folks. It's not a ripoff of a game, no more than any chess program is a chess ripoff.

Nice background music and user interface is pretty good, except for the board positioning. Most of the challenge at the higher levels is due to the board not being able to fit in the playing area and having to move it around. It would be better to just shrink it to fit, or expand the area it can be in, although this could be caused by Kong's size restrictions

Why is the board only in the book? Thats just wasted room all around the book that should of been used to expand the board.

No, this is picross, and its been done before. You wouldn't called a Sudoku book a ripoff just because its been on the DS.

Goals: 4 (The times are just ridiculous in the first level set, the person who isn't used to these games won't be able to play at all for a medal. It's even fairly difficult for those puzzle lovers like me, but the times are well done at the end) Length: 3 (Extremely long, which isn't a problem, but most people, unlike me, will walk away after the first or second level set. Those addicted to it will have to get a life eventually, too. I mean, 35 minutes for the last puzzle?!). Well, final score, this'll be a long one: 3+4+3+4+5+3+4+4+4=34/9=4. This game has a 4/5.

In my opinion, I love this game, and WOULD give it a 5/5, but I have to rate it on my "integrity scale", or how good the game actually is. Creativity: 4 (Many games similar to this, but this has some great ideas, as well as more puzzles) Implementation: 4 (No bugs at all, and easy to grasp, some poor design on large puzzles, but it’s easy to get used to that) Fun Factor: 4 (Hours of fun and thinking can keep people playing this for a while) Boredom Factor: 3 (Fairly long, but every picture entices you to find out what it is) Music: 5 (Very calming, perfect to set the mood required for the game) Difficulty: 4 (Can keep those new-age people with impatience and dislike for puzzles for the first difficulty, but those true gamers and puzzle lovers will play this forever) Ease of Use: 3 (Coloring is a bit difficult to get used to, as is the move about cursor, in addition to the color changing thing, but these are just minor inconveniences, and those who don't time themselves won't care)

Great idea but poorly done. The numbers should never be hidden and should never be on the board, especially mixed with a color.
