The luck factor really takes away from the game, the power of the cards seems off...a rat defeating golems and dragons? Come on now...

this reminds me of yugioh o_O which i dont like but this seems waaaay cooler for some odd reason not only that but i think that the kongregate staff might have thier cardgame be somwhat like yours (in rules where you can play cards etc.) good game overall 4/5 :)

unknown is being really annoying. He spammed like 50 games. And the badge is supposed to be easy. thats why its for 5 points.

A pretty good game. I'd really like to see online multi-player here. This is one of those games that can do that well 4/5

I feel that the random factor is a good idea. It makes all decks have a chance to win. Otherwise you would just make a deck of high powered cards and win every time!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you have somehow removed the strategy element from a strategy card game - I feel no satisfaction from winning, or frustration from losing - really doesn't feel like I had anything to do with it either way

too random to be any good... maybe if it was +/-1 for attack /defense when a fight happens... but right now this game just sucks

Like Yugioh with a big shot of luck. And no one likes luck in a game where skill and planning should win. I would give it a 4 but the large luck factor lowers it to a 3. I agree with jaymun; a rat should be incapable of destroying a dragon.

No more random based! No more random based! It takes alot of the fun out! Ok im putting my rating down to 1/5 until you make it stop that :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there should be a damge/defence range, e.g. damage is 3-7 and defence is 2-5, that way a rat cant destroy my dragon...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This really is annoying me. I just decided to kill a 0-defense monster (I used a vulnerable on it) and it took two ogres, a knight and an alien to kill it. Could you perhaps change it so that there's a random factor of maybe half the monsters attack? or something... I dunno, but this is frustrating me.

I really don't like this very much. Why? The luck-based damage system. Even if you have a... ogre, or something, with a fire sword, you can still get damaged against a rat (it happened a lot to me). It really takes most, if not all, of the skill-based strategy out of the game.

Great game but way way to easy to get the badge. There should be a harder badge to get that requires you to have a weaker deck then the computer.

Eh, not too bad for a M:TG clone. The summoning time takes the place of M:TG's mana costs. Perhaps a bit longer summoning times for some of the more powerful creatures.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some form of card cost (a la mana cost in M:TG) would be very good, it is silly that a dragon is just as easy to cast as a rat ... but generally a good effort.
Yes, the badge is dead easy, that's why it is a 5 point one :)
Netplay would go really well with this game.

fun for the first game, but after a game, the problems make it less fun, the biggest problem i had was when i attacked a rat (1 def) with my hydra equipped with a firesword (9) and i rolled a zero and the rat rolled a one. instead of having the random roll be less than or equal to the number, maybe only be any number between that number and two lower.
3/5

Possibly the easiest badge to ever get. Customize your deck so it's all monsters, and the computer's so it's all monster-buffing or summoning cards. That way he won't ever be able to attack or defend, and you will be constantly doing so. It will take about 3 turns. :P

Loved this game when it first came out on Crazy Monkey Games a while back. Make a sequel with more cards etc. Maybe some even resources like Magic.

When you have a lot of cards, it would be good for them to pop up when you put your mouse over them... otherwise great game!

Needs sped up a bit, the after damage dealt delay is interminable... esp in large monster brawls.
Past that - Nice game... though the randomness makes a dragon killable by a rat... which is... stupid. If the attack and defense actually adjusted things more visibly I'd like it more.
Still 4 of 5 for the work and general fun.
