Hey, sorry to say, but I can't seem to choose either control scheme when starting the game. I can't even get past that point. I'm not sure if it's me or the game itself, but it could be a glitch of some sort.

Boss Guide:
#1 he has two sets of attacks, shooting at you and shooting in the air and having his bullets fall on you. When he shoots at you go to the left side of the screen and move up and down (pretty much). When he shoots in the air move all the way to the right and as the bullets above your head start falling tap left twice (you'll be out of range), repeat as more bullets fall.
#2 go all the way to the left of the screen and try to stay horizontal with his claws, his attacks split and will go above and below you.
#3/final if only one tentacle appears go to the opposite side (if it goes to the bottom of the screen go up and if it goes up, go down). When the shooting tentacles appear I prefer to focus them down one at a time. at the eye shoot it and dodge it's shots by moving slightly up and down. Heal when your down to 2 health and the final boss has 3 forms and they actually get easier.

New glitch where stones and the final boss CANNOT be hit, even if you're firing dead onto them. The bullets just pass through them and they take no damage.

Making it all the way to the last boss the first time only to find out "Oh by the way, it doesn't matter if you have the skill to get here as you can't even hit it until you grind through every bloody mission" is, shall we say, not fun. In the "makes me want to say f*** this, quit, and rate you down rather than wasting time going through it another dozen times or so because of pointless blocking" sort of way. If I couldn't beat it for lack of skill, fine- but not even being allowed to try is retardedly poor design.

There's a lot of times that my bullets just go straight through enemies? I couldn't kill the final boss a few times because of it :(

the to kill the boss combo where you gotta hit the right keys is not working for me right now. it just keeps moving my guy around the screen and not doing anything else.

The auto-fire option should be recorded between runs. Also, in the last boss there is no ground, but I still get blocked by the "ghost" of it. There could be something to sign where you cannot fly anymore

Seeing as there are so many control requests, if you go Arrows, The ZX space doesn't make sense. Why not simply allow full customising or at least something that can be used on non-qwerty computers. Even JKL and Arrows would be great.

So, like... I've got fewer than half the upgrades, and I made it to the final boss.... But I have to grind like crazy to get achievements that I can only earn a total of three in the game just to have a chance to TRY the final boss? That's pretty lame.

I just lost to a dream eater boss that got bullets past right through him without damage.
This doesn't deserve badges until gets to a final unbugged version.

Somewhat sexist game. The female character was completely useless. She didn't even fight back AT ALL. She just sat there doing nothing. And no, don't even bother counting the end as her being useful. Cthulhu wasn't gonna attack her either way. As for the guy, he had no patience and was relatively dumb. Oh, and for whatever reason he wasn't captured and did the saving.

with a few glitches here and there its not that bad of a game 4/5 i would give it 5/5 but for a game like this i expected it to be easy instead it was pretty dang hard besides the glitches and difficulty its a really well made game

Cool design, but some bullets go right through some enemies, and the game has a tendency to lock to a certain key-stroke for some seconds disabling you in the meanwhile to take any other action...
Fixing and then badges, not the other way around!

Good game, but by far the most annoying thing is the auto kill at the end boss if you haven't finished all the missions. It's kind of a downer reaching him only to be told you're dead because you need this thing that hasn't been mentioned before to break through his shield.

4/5. Don't like how I got to the boss and couldn't even try fighting it before finishing all quests, and also I would love to see like even a little bit of sub-plot between both of them. Like even if it was just her saying little comment in game, but besides that it's really fun. I like how there's two ways to play, flying and just walking.

I must be honest here. The game itself deserves about two or three stars - however, the closing animation? Bumped it up an extra star.

Make it so that when we encounter bosses, we aren't in a state where we're unable to move AND vulnerable to taking damage. I lost three hearts before meeting the second boss and died because of it.

Great shooter with excellent polish. But I strongly dislike that you get penalized with instant death for reaching the last boss before completing all the missions.

"You need to complete all missions to break the shield"? Wtf, that's stupid, there are 33 missions and you can only do three per run, now I have to do a bunch of dummy runs just to complete missions that are not available yet and to be able to damage the final boss?

Prime example of a game not knowing when it should end. Getting all the achievements is fine, but NOT as a requirement for beating a boss that was less than interesting or difficult. Add an endless and more achiements for those who like to collect that stuff. By the end, I was tired of murdering enemies that stopped being any kind of challenege 20 runs ago. So the game either needs to be lengthened greatly (if this route was taken, "Start from X location" points would be needed) or the achievements can be chopped in half. Even they were not really engaging. Don't shoot for X distance... boring. Was fun the first few runs, but there's a steep drop into dull. 2/5

nice game. but there is 1 thing the game is missing.
Please add a highscore using kongregate API so people could compete.
the end game of everygame is always competition between player and this is what keep us playing.

I really wish that there was a way to just jump and not hover, also a way to fast cancel the flight would be nice. like if I double tap down i just drop back down to the ground.
It is absolutely ridiculous how hard it is to avoid the giant squares that the first boss is throwing at you. unless you level up your movement speed a whole bunch.
The screen is so cluttered with images half the time I die without even seeing what it was that actually hit me. took me about 10 runs before I even started to understand what the hell was coming at me.

All in all a fun albeit generic game. The only gripe is the old and tired boss within a boss finale. Also, you don't insult Ctulhu and expect to remain sane! Prepare for insanity!

Only one complaint: spells have no effect at all on bosses at all. I think it should at least do some damage when you use any of the spells on a boss.

Took damage in a cutscene, which made it so I couldn't damage the boss. Even more of a bad taste in the mouth after getting to the final boss and being told you have to 100% everything to kill him.

Bad game becuase it doesnt let you win no matter how good you are until you spend X hours trying to get all the archievment..as soon as i found about this i wrote this comen and left this game. Thumbs down
