Money earning guide! The reason it seems so hard to get money is each replay earns LESS money (diminishing returns). They key is to replay the best levels until it only gives you a few thousand for a replay. The hidden levels are the best ones to replay, some of them give you $40,000 on the first try. Doing this strategy I maxed out my upgrades and got 6 stars on all maps.

Awesome game!!! I can't wait for it to get badges! The Bakin' Bacon Badge, The Make It a Combo Badge, The Pigsterminator Badge and The Whole Hog Badge !!!

Best way to earn a massive amount of money: Play a map for the first time, until you've killed ALMOST all enemies. Hit the Replay button and do it again without actually finishing the level. This way you'll keep earning the initial amout of money without the penalty of redoing a level. Works best with hidden levels.

There are few things more satisfying than purchasing the Rump Roast upgrade and then going back and massacring the levels that could not be completed by any mortal means now that the damn paratroopers can stop surviving.

I think the problem with Baconater isn't so much that they're tough (though they are) but that the strategy to beat them is counter-intuitive towards the rest of the game- that is: focusing firepower, rather than trying to create the most damage. It ends up being a little excessively difficult because all your abilities are geared towards causing the most widespread destruction, not focused destruction.

Very good game. Here is something I noticed, that should save people time. You only get more money when your score for a level is above what your best record for a level is. Therefore, the money upgrades should always take priority. Once you have gotten a higher level money upgrade, go back and try for the best combo for each stage. With the +150% money upgrade, and going through all the stages with the highest combo, and also getting the free money for clicking the two links from the side bar in the Upgrades screen, I was able to buy all the upgrades and had $53,588 to spare, for a total of $646,588 earned all together. I hope this helps!

The levels give you less money every time you play them. To cheese it just restart the level before it ends so you always get the money like it's your first time playing that level

This is without a doubt the best chain reaction game on Kongregate. Very, very well done. I have nothing bad to say about it.

if you want money, replay some of the full airial levels, but click the replay button at the top-right of the screen before the level 'finishes'. the diminishing returns for replaying a level will not apply then, and you can get lots of cash, some levels can yield over 15k per run doing that

Thanx for a nice game!
Did not understand why i did not defeat the last big boss (Whole Hog Badge) until a cought a glimpse of the 3 partially hidden stars on top of screen that must be hit..!!! If there are more ppl like me out there, pls keep this high so they dont need to waist time wondering...

While overall I enjoyed the game, the bonus "night" missions were more luck and replay than any skill, and the final big boss was just a horrible night repeat of the day boss fight but with the handicap of not being able to see when a majority of the forces were close enough to the baconator to damage it, the 3 semi hidden stars and enemies behind the boss were insult to injury.

Troopah: sir, the defences are ready. 50 unarmed troopahs, a few troopahs with weapons, 2 tanks, and a ridiculous amount of air support
Leader: DID YOU SAY AIR SUPPORT!? WE'RE DOOMED!

more final boss tips = roast em early and often dont wait for the explosions to stop cuz you sometimes can sneak a third one in - also wait for all the trucks and hardware to be near the boss so all that stuff can blow up near it

Money farming guide: Start the chain reactions and hit the restart button in the top right BEFORE you meet your minimum level goal. Works best on hidden levels but it applies to them all. This prevents the money nerf from affecting that level. I got 100k on the first hidden level, then farmed another 500k on the second hidden level. Both times took less than 10 min. Didn't worry about money for the rest of the game.

Overall a good game. Like Infectonator, the game consist of being the detonating event that leads to the utter chaos seen all around the screen. The key of these games is to make the detonation challenging to place correctly and the chaos entertaining; and on that regard, it succeeds. The upgrades, however, needed some tweaks: the paratroopah upgrade unfortunately increased the difficulty (the opposite effect of what an upgrade should do) until the rumpy roast upgrade was purchased, and there was plenty of grinding to do in order to get that upgrade. Boss fights were ok and the recharge bar was a neat addition. And yet, I can't shake off the feeling that this game is playing it safe, although it's still a enjoyable experience. 4/5.

it should give more money in the las levels. It is impossible to level up the last upgrade without doing the levels over and over again...

When trying to get 6 stars, I've found it best to remove the "Paratroopah" talent for planes unless you can also afford the "Rump Roast" upgrade. The paratroopers live on impact and must also be killed to get all 3 destruction stars for the level. When the plane is the last object destroyed, you will be unable to kill the paratrooper that spawns from it, giving you only 2/3 stars.
We was think alot about money. And the way with easier grinding could make game boring. For now you need to find a best combination of upgrades to beat each level. Also you not need to have all upgrades to beat even BigBoss, sometimes with full upgrades its even harder, because reaction is too fast.
Thank you for play! :)

I love how you can sell upgrades if they make more damage than good (like the ejecting pilot in ground levels), how the game automatically reports the earlier level with less stars, and I absolutely adore that if you skip an upgrade on purpose the shop button blinks only if a new one is unlocked. And if you didn't see it on first time not clicking the upgrades button, it will continue to blink instead. Also this little things make a game enjoyable. Way to go, MostroGames!

Thank you for that money farming tip! Otherwise I'd still be there getting 100 gold for each level and redoing them ad nauseum even after having gotten all the stars. The only thing I have to rinse and repeat now is that final boss level. Those annoying planes are flying off in the wrong direction all the time!

Overall a fun chain reaction game, but while a part of the fun of chain reaction is to see "what will happen this time?" I personally think there is a little TOO much randomness. I must have tried 40-50 times to kill the hidden boss before I managed to take him down. and this was with all upgrades.

Here's a tip to make it easier to six star stages. Sell the paratroopah upgrade for the jets. Until you can afford the upgrade that makes them explode when they hit the ground, their still being alive after landing counts against you.

It's a decent game.... not the best I've seen if you're a badge hunter like myself. I'm all for luck, but this is ridiculous! The final level, the 'Big Boss' level? Takes forever to unlock followed by taking forever to complete if you don't hit it just right. Honestly? 4/5.... would have been perfect were it not for the grinding and ridiculous amount of luck required.

It seems that each level is worth less and less each time you complete it, making the last 100k VERY tedious to earn.

Here is another tip if you haven't noticed you can SELL a upgrade back without losing money. So you can sell back some that are not as good to try to buy something better instead. Just keep in mind that the one you sell if you bought upgrades after that one you'll also get the money back for them as well. So if you sell the first upgrade the rest in that tier will be sold back as well.

too much grinding needed to get the most expensive upgrades, also I've have seen bullets and missiles go RIGHT THROUGH things, that's frustrating. The parachute upgrade only makes most levels a pain in the ass until you can grind to get the 75k to make them blow up. Otherwise a really cool game, like the upgrades and style. Thanks.
