I've loved this game for years; every now and then I return to it and give it a fresh run-through. This time I noticed strange problems: when mousing over the buttons, the descriptions were often chopped short. What happened?

Ah, Talesworth arena, how nostalgic. I have to say that out of the many games I've played on here, this is an easily memorable one. Unique graphics, storyline, and gameplay. Well-worth the time I spent on it and a style that I've never seen again ever since.

level 5 is broken there aren't any good items and the boss heals, takes no damage, stuns, and does half your health in one shot very other minute.

You know, its nice to see that the first game I ever got a badge on my massively old account filled with thousands of badges, was not only this game, but also has a dev that is still active even after ten years. Nice. :)

Fun game but gets repetitive quickly. Worth completing once for one hard badge. Really can't bring myself to play through it 3 times.

Woops, found a bug! When you fight a monster that has an item, you receive that item when you defeat it. If you refresh the page after defeating the monster, but BEFORE returning to the map, you will have the item in your inventory but the story won't be advanced. Like the comment if you want to use that feature.

the enemies attack pattern is the key. most enemies always begin with the same attack and almost always use same attack combo over and over... learn that and you can plan block, stuns, attacks and your whole strategy.

well... nice game but one thing is missing... at training you can't see the the current rank of your skill... I can't see it anywhere... but on the equip screen you can see current equips and other ones you have/want to buy... seems like you forgot to add info for current skill..

Gotta admit, this is by far one of the longest Hard Badge I've encountered. Guess it's still kinda worth it; 'coz the game is good.!

I have finally earned the hard badge (Engionicnaut), and I have some advice to give you.
As it stands, right-clicking the screen when casting something, while your opponent isn't casting anything, freezes the enemy, and your cast will go on undisturbed for as long as the little menu is up.
This means you can effectively cripple the opponent by abusing this. This exploit is VITAL while on normal mode with the psionic, and even then, you can barely win the hardest fights. Such a shame, since I really love this game.
Other than that, just keep in mind that the only bonus you will ever need from enemies is +stun time; everything else is just too weak in comparison. Good luck!

Reading the comments, I thought the last boss would be ridiculously imbalanced and it would be a waste of my time, but I went in as a juggernaut and defeated him on my first try, no real strategy involved even. I just mashed buttons and tried to build up my combos. (I had a harder time with some of the other bosses at earlier levels)

TIP: The final boss deals 8 unstoppable DPS and tries to have poison/physical/stun immunity up IN THAT ORDER. If you're not careful he will literally be unstoppable. Other than blindness (which isn't a problem for me) he has no tricks or indirect DPS, so plan your gear accordingly. This game is piss poor IMO, since it requires the use of 9 skills (going beyond the normal 7 memory limit), tries to perma-lock you into the losing state (horrible design by any measure), requires arbitrary dexterity and reaction time, and it's not even fun. There aren't ANY standardized mechanics, just a bunch of annoying skills and timers. Clicking away at buttons in a predetermined order to defeat 1-dimensional AI is not fun nor interactive. It's trial and error, which is some of the worst gameplay. Aside from the questing parts you spend a solid 80% of the "game" reading enemy skills just to try and guess the MAGIC sequence to break through their wall of BS.

1 star, because I'm stuck on an enemy I can't beat, and every time I fight him I get WEAKER not stronger - which means if I didn't win the first time I tried, my chance of beating him goes DOWN every attempt - i.e. the opposite of how xp should work!
