Just realized I have an older version of Vivaldi, which is why Flash still works. Currently using v3.5, basically only use it for playing Colourshift here.

To get the game working, first use Vivaldi for your browser. It still allows flash to be run.
Unblock flash by clicking on the "shield" icon in the address bar. Then reload the page.
Once you get the Supernova screen, click the "More Options" link. You'll then see a link to enable flash on the page. One more reload and the game should load.
Has been working for me for the past couple of years.

Occasionally when I open this page, the game just loads a blank black screen. No button to launch the Supernova game. When this happens, there seems to be nothing I can do to make it work, no matter how many times I reload the page or how many hours I wait. It always takes until the next day at least before it returns to normal. SO effing annoying.

Quick Play Colour Mode complete! Took dribs and drabs effort over a couple weeks (left the game open in my browser), and finally done. (Worked much better than giving up and simply closing the browser, only to come back and try again another day. Sometimes a break and fresh perspective is all you need!)

After about a day or two I eventually completely figured out that all I had to do really was to think a bit more deeply than I usually do to solving these levels. Anyway quite a good game. 3/5.

I think colour is definitely easier than mono. Just needs a bit of practice going through the lower levels. Becomes second nature after a while and you can do them very quickly once you've got the hang of it.

Well the colored impossible grid was A LOT easier for me than the mono: https://i.ibb.co/r0k05xv/Screenshot-from-2020-05-15-10-36-19.png

Went to bed and got up fresh to try again and got it 1st try: https://i.ibb.co/g7bZMPb/Screenshot-from-2020-05-15-09-18-04.png
Now to try the colour one... so far it just seems to be a case random luck as to whether one gets a good grid or not, some people will persevere and eventually get this done but most people won't.

@MeckaMecka: That sounds very odd, all the puzzles should be able to be beaten. Can you take a screenshot, upload it to Imgur or some other photo hosting site, and post a link to it so we can look at it?

Impossible modes are just that: impossible. How am I supposed to complete puzzles that have two 4x connections next to the single reception node? You can't get rid of it wither, through moving the puzzles with arrow keys, because I tried for ten minutes at least to get it somewhere else. Last badge is literally impossible

@glory In subtractive color (paint mixing), yellow is a primary color but the game uses additive color (light mixing) and yellow light is made by adding red and green
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Glory, this game uses the light color palette, not the paint color palette. The primary colors in light are red, green, blue (RGB). The way the dev mixes these colors is exactly correct.

It took me about 3 hours just to get the easy badge and on easy mode...probably one of the most hardest games I played yet. can't imagine what's on impossible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@archerbob There are 10 dummies at quick play impossible if you read it carefully. Dummy tiles are there to increase the difficulty and you don't need to light them.

I write it here as everytime this game show up in the BOTD : I love this game !!!
One of my favorite over the years.
Perhaps because I always eventualy find the solution of any of the level. Or maybe because I have the badges since 2012.
But geeez I like it. And I'm gonne loose some precious working time today on it :-)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The hard badge may as well be the impossible badge because all the impossible grids seem to be impossible as I tried over multiple hours to find a grid that is actually possible... I always get down to a handful of bulbs that cannot make connection in any way shape or form

I didn't realize until level 20 that I could make links off the sides to other sides, don't say I don't give you anything: https://i.ibb.co/bJdtmgN/Level20.png

The first couple of times I did impossible color mode I didn't know that you could move the screen with arrow keys. T_T

@Andyman999 - Every level is solvable. Getting to a point where you only have one unconnected node and seemingly no way to finish means you'll have to dramatically re-arrange the surrounding nodes, even if it messes things up. I've abandoned a few of my earlier impossible levels thinking they weren't solvable, but that was four or five years ago :p

After Playing this game many many times, I've run across once I cant complete on impossible. I don't know if it's a glitch or a tile just didn't appear or something, but it doesn't appear to be solvable because of a single blank space.

If I got to a high score (level) on a different computer that died, how do I start on that level on this machine? Please tell me I don't have to work my way all back up?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I made eeeeeeeeeeeeet! 7 years after the other two badges I finally have the hard badge. Have tried a couple of times in the meanwhile and given up more than I can count.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Best tip I can give is that I start with joining all the endpoints of the same color in the same network and work backwards from there.

Protip for the Impossible challenges: open up the puzzle in an image editing program (MS Paint works) and treat it like Sudoku: find specific blocks that can logically only be turned in one direction (such as a node with other nodes on three sides), and permanently paint over them so you only have to look at parts of the puzzle that may be incorrect. Once you've eliminated substantial pieces of the board from play, it becomes much easier.

@thestrawberry23: The "The Quick and the Shifted Badge" requires BOTH conditions of beating color and mono mode on impossible to be completed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why ? Oh, why ? Why am I gonna loose again a part of my working day :-D !
Every times this game pops-up I find myself playing dozens of level. One of my all time favorite.
