There is a new version of this game available now, pentrix +. Some of you may prefer that version! There's a link in my profile.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I probably should have thought to give a reward for a pentris... Anyway, I've got pentrix-plus (or pentrix 2) on my todo list at the moment so hopefully some of these features will appear :)

For all the effort I put into getting a pentris set up (exponentially harder than a tetris) I was expecting something cool to happen, or at least some kind of point bonus. Still, not a bad game

needs sound effects (maybe the old school tetris piece moving sounds?) and music. should add a hotkey to start new game instead of clicking new game. LOVE THIS!! great job!

people who complain of difficulty can go back to four block tetris...i always wanted 5 block tetris so for me 5/5...i would love to see a fullscreen board with ten block tetris

It's challenging but it needs a little more features. A next piece indicator would help, as well as a taller board, since you're gonna lose really fast. I can't judge the music, because I don't have sound, but 3/5 until then.

Well, this game is one of the ideas that are not that geat but had to be done. Unfortunately, 5-piece blocks come in shapes so arkward that you can be happy if you just have one hole per line, and because there are some twenty-odd different pieces (i think o.O), you can't really plan ahead cause you can't wait that long for the right block. Still, you turned this unplayable idea into a somewhat enjoyable game and the overall presentation, avoidance of bugs etc. warrants a solid 4/5.

It is a cool concept but the novelty of it gets in the way of the fun. It is not nearly as fun as tetris because of the akwardness of the shapes. Tetris is fun because of its simplicity, this is just too much work. Also, in my opinion, the best tetris game is the one for the N64 because of the ability to switch pieces out for later use.
