Protip for newcomers, a lot of us find it difficult to advance after the first reset. After rearranging my gold paint many times, my conclusion is that you're best off throwing it all into "Chance" and spending a little time arranging colors manually. That's the quickest way I've seen to advance so far. Add a bit to the other branches after you've gotten a bit more gold. This may change with the game, of course.

Hi! Maybe you can add an option to advance through RGB colors, or through the hexidecimal values! Like 000001,000002,000003, ECT.

Very interesting game. Seems slow at the beginning, however I'm on my fourth reset, at tier 501, and I can honestly say that it speeds up a lot. There seem to be a few upgrades that are much stronger than others, however overall, this is a great game. I look forward to more colors than just black, blue, and green.

The automation perks don't work very well, they're more than twice as expensive as perks that actually help you so every time I'm like "I really shouldn't be taking this as it doesn't do anything to help me and I could be taking 2-3 things that actually allow me to get further" but without the automation perks the game is incredibly effort intensive.
It might be better to make them free but with unlock requirements "You get [automation perk] for free when getting [useful thing] level X" like the first level of paint active.

How about 2 more free perks for more idle play to compensate the boring problem after the first reset?
1. Smart active: Randomly chosen cell in the paint become active by every tick(lvl1 and free), Cell with the worst colors are chosen (lvl2 and it is max lvl)
(Prerequisition to lvl up: 'Paint active' and 'Auto sort')
2. Dumb seller: Auto seller will sell random color in the pallet (lvl1 and free, and it is max lvl, no prerequisition and replaced by Smart seller)

Could you limit the number of crits to one line. I've left the game running for quite some time and I ended up with a huge paragraph of crits. It's annoying.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's not clicker and it's not idle as most of my boxes can't be automatic. I think it's new enere of games "Box dragging game".
It's quite good, but gameplay can be little less boring and little more enjoyable

How does +chance work?? More often than not I'll put a higher tiered colour in 'paint' or even buy the +chance upgrade and my chance for top few highest tiered colours will go DOWN. (Nearing tier 600)

This wouldn't even be that boring of a game if you had gone to the trouble of re-balancing it properly. The slowness of prestige is what hinders it in my opinion.

I sincerely recommend playing with the color schemes a bit while you're doing beta with the new version as well. For example, some of those neon colors lik bright green with the white text are horribad to look at.

Hey, I realized there is a very frustrating thing with double click and auto sort on palette.
To be specific, I leave the mouse on first square of palette, double click, it works. But for the next color, I have to move the mouse a little bit. It won't double click on the same spot.
PLEASE FIX THIS.

@Yoshi well I was merely guessing anyways, so no surprise I was wrong. I would think it would be a relatively ismply fix though, so I'm curious why it hasn't been fixed already.

@itsme0 I figured It was due to the item getting moved instantly and getting it bugged rather then it being it's own thing.

Ah, I think I have found out why this is happening. When you get a double crit from using "Tick color" it will only get rid of one, I haven't been able to test this but I think this may be from it. I don't recall getting this issue when I first started the game. I think he simply needs to update the code to get rid of any new "CRIT!" rather then just the first one.

@Yoshi DOn't know what you're talking about as I don't use an autoclicker on this game and still get plenty of the crit spams. Having to refresh every 20 minutes to stop from having multiple lines of it is annoying. It seems to me that it's supposed to come up, but something goes wrong so it never disappears
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's been fun, but all the "CRIT!"s make me have to scroll down the percentages. What are they there for? Do they affect anything? I'd like to be able to turn em off please.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@shibbysan, you can only get one leve per 4. Since the game gives you one for free, to get a second one you need 8 to get the second active paint cell

like in others games there is currency for reset - gold paint, rewarding ONLY once with unlocks new colors that means you will get ur currency only once per run... genius idea! new wave in idle games! 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
id like to know WHAT or HOW u get that gold paint? i mean. is it money depended. is it tier paint depended. what? GIEF INFO :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I seem to be accumulating CRIT! notifications. I left it running for a while and I'm now up to two lines (19 repetitions) of CRIT! at the top.

Also a bug, though a really nice one and I'd prefer it just become a documented feature:
If you increase your active paints, the active cell remains if you clear your abilities. So basically the first thing to do every restart (or after returning from idle), is to get as high of a tier for active paints as possible then clear the abilities and reset.
Honestly, I don't see an issue with it remaining as-is. There are abilities that are best used in certain circumstances. For example piling everything into "base color" before a restart is logical.
So progress in my opinion looks like this:
Before restart => Poor everything into base color
After start => Max active paints. Save. Clear. Max Tick Color.
Once things start to slow down => paint stacks and color tiers (plus autosorts), though really auto sorts can be ignored for idle as long as you have smart seller.

I think an interesting option would be to add a game mechanic to allow you to merge a stack of colors into a higher tier color. This could also increase end-game (before restart) progression.
IE: You could convert a stack of X colors to a color X-1 higher. So a stack of two 100s could be converted into a single 101. This would actually reduce your probabilities (one 101 is little more than a half the probability/money value of two 100s), but if you used it on your highest tier color, it would probably have a net increase in your probabilities.
This ability becomes more valuable as you increase how many you can stack. A stack of four 100s could be converted into a 103.

I think faster progress would be possible if you gained colors offline rather than just currency. Perhaps have a skill for that. As right now the best option is to live the game open in a separate window in order to get true "idle" functionality.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Rather interesting game. The probability should be clarified as the "probability of getting a color of at least this level".
I do rather like that you can redo your skills so you can switch from trying to gain levels quickly (more colors per tick) to gaining.
