Every time I use my skill points for Defend, I choose it and it disappears, along with my skill points. I have wasted many skill points on buying defend and they don't return.

i really liked this, i haven't suffered any glitches or any lag, its a good platform game,id like to see more of it :)

At first look I loved it. I like the music and style. Then I started to play and was rather disappointed. I'm also using Firefox like the most here and the freezes are annoying. Also after finishing a level I wanted to restart but the button doesn't seem to work. As already mentioned a few times the fighting is boring and the special moves are not effective or even doable due to bad controls. Still 3/5 because of the potential.

Freezing got me too, generally when I exited the upgrade screen. And space to attack just felt awkward and uncomfortable with both WASD and arrow controls. If there's a positive it's the pleasant graphics, but overall far behind most other platformers I've seen.

Close to being good but controls seem twitchy making precision a real pain and the game glitches like mad after upgrading (firefox, ie 6 & 7 tried and did same). With the tweaks could be 4/5, as is it's "only" a 3 ;)

Liked: the way the barriers were 'natural' looking; the squid in the background on the first level
Disliked: The combat felt a bit laggy, and upgrading near the start of level 3 killed Firefox for me too.
Also, the game description of the available upgrades doesn't match those in the game - dexterity?
Overall, fun though, pity about hanging the browser

You have to manually upgrade yourself. When your bar on the left is full, the little Up arrow flashes. Click on that and you can upgrade. I upgraded during the third level, but after that the game became unplayable. It would stutter and freeze, the music still playing normally the whole time. I had to close Firefox to make it stop.

Solid platform game, with a few issues. Mainly, the enitre game display doesnt fit into the kongregate window, so I cant see whatever the bars at the top represent.
also, I played the first 4 levels and didnt gain a single upgrade, is levelling really that slow?
