come on really?!?!? on the ankh item ( the one that if you die revives you with 3 life and teleports enemy's away) i thought usable once per game meant once per each time you tried a level, not that it was a one use item! plz rewrite that to be more clear!!!

Well, it needs a pause button (or i dont know what is it). And gold scarabs are a hard achievement but for the wrong reasons. Sometimes i just keep shooting out of the temple so the slave can acumulate so i can shoot them when they are all together.

I don't care for the Cat God cames. Too slow, there's not really much I can do to improve my ability to win. The upgrades don't make much notable change in my ability to level up or gain coins or have fun.

I guess this was okay, not really my favorite game. I feel the last two levels (Sun Emperor and Stay Alive) are out of order (it seems weird to switch between two characters for just one level). Besides that the only real complaints I have is not being able to choose if I want to use an Ankh (if I already won Stay Alive I don't really want to waste it just for a higher score), not getting a brief invincibility period after being hit, and that the top of the divine fire doesn't hurt enemies (sometimes fliers run into it just a second later). Overall it isn't bad, I guess I am just not a fan.

My favorite part is trying to complete the gold scarabs...SERIOUSLY, the gold scarabs are difficult for all the wrong reasons. You're on your way to completing them, then the game says "nope, you're done, no gold for you." I'm not one to complain in the comments, but this game warrants it.

I have a complaint about this game:
The first game had a story. This didn't. I would rate it 4 but luckily the ending song covers the story. But seriously, other games of yours had a story and it was great. Such as Kill The Heroes. I do suggest you note this for future games.

There's nothing better than being a floating kitten, burning everything. ;)
And the ending song is just epic. Good job.

I'd really like to now what are the determining factors in getting a hat, Is it high scores or golden scarab amounts? Can you go back to any level and get them or once you finish does only the survival level work? Or is it just completely random?

I was reading all the comments about the end of game music, so I'm like yeah, whatever. Then I actually listen to it. Thanks to Nerdook for another great game!

Something is wrong. I maxed out all my stats, got every gold scarab, got over 10,000 coins...yet I keep on checking and no badges have been added yet.....

4/5 only because in the level where you are the sun king get the golden scarab is pure luck, because you can't really do something to stop your troop to kill the cat, and if you buy the upgrade that make the scarab damage the cat you'll always kill him before gettin the golden scarab

I think I am in the minority here but I liked the first game better. You had more control of what you were doing with your powers while this game is much more random. Powers are selected at random and you cannot shut off the fireballs at all. This is still a great game but as the first one had more depth to it. Don't get me wrong, I still 5 starred and faved the game, it is a lot of fun.

Haha. First game I played on Kongregate and my very first badges were from the original Cat God. Now I come back after ignoring kongregate for a few months, and lo and behold, Cat God vs Sun King 2 welcomes me back. Keep up the great work Nerdook.
