My strategy is:
Begin with a Dual on far left and a Piercing on the far right.
As you earn souls, keep stacking Duals on the first column until you have 4 of them.
After that, build a Booster at the bottom.
Do the same for the 3rd column, leaving a space in between.
On the fifth column, stack Grabbers or for lower levels, Sticky with Perfume on top if you do have it.
Finally, stack Piercings on the last column and end with a Booster.
Most of the time, you won't get to finish this setup. Perhaps only on Survival, where you can set this up and keep whacking the bosses while pausing to collect the souls and re-setup your cheesed stacks. I beat Survival with 4 toys left :]
Don't forgot to change a Dual for Eye when necessary!

You made everything related to the sins, what the bosses can do, the blocks, and what the other children say.5/5, waiting for Aliens Took My Daughter or whatever :D

i give this a 4/5. first, well done nerdook. i love the game. it's pretty good for a first defence game. i like the concept. the only reason its not 5/5 is because it gets reppetative (spelling?).

oh, now i get it. now i finnaly understand why those guys from Full Metal Alchemist were named as Sloth, Envy, Gluttony, etc...

Great unconventional defense-game. Once more great design and style 5/5. I personally love that you don't stick to one kind of gametype and try to do your best in every game. Keep up the good work!

you're the best, games are amazing, and I'm amazed at how fast you can upload great games, animation is simple yet awesome.

Will there be any possibility of tower or level additions? Perhaps character customization?
That is a trademark in past Nerdook games... not that I am saying this game isn't fun enough.
Loving the game, as well as all the others. Any hints on the next game you're planning?

So I right clicked the game, went to settings and found this heading (secret settings). You, kind sir/madam/robot, have the 'Epic Win' box checked. Please continue to keep that box checked.

Its pretty cool that you made 3 top class games using the same engine (i think)
congratulations nerdook, you're becoming one of my favorite flash artists.
Btw that was a very nice twist to the genre of tower defense.
5.00

I think that Nerdook is the only one to ever have two games in the top monthly games. Good job and all, but how do you make these games so fast?

Rescuing your daughter is a lot easier when you have access to a bunch of crazy and awesome technology, an angel robe, wings, and an enormous sword.

For those of you trying to get the hard badge, and having trouble on survival: First off, make sure you have your sword upgraded, preferably with both upgrades, however the main one you need is the one that multiplies damage with souls. Once that's done, your going to want to make 2 rows of towers on both sides of the map. One side will be Dual Blocks(you probably want to put this near the portals), and the other side will be Flame Block. Make sure you place an eye-block in the center of each stack, along with a lone eye-block in the center of the map. From there all you have to do is repair "cheesified" blocks, and collect souls to power up your sword. Kudos to Double57 for his post earlier, I just thought I would apply this to the survival mode.

One important thing to remember is that you can press space to pause the game. While its paused, you can still move around, collect souls and toys, and build and sell towers. This makes the game a lot easier (almost too easy).

Got a gold rating on every level except Survival, then read the comments to discover I'd played the entire game without noticing the upgrades Shop.

The only thing I DON'T like about this game (and Nerdook's games in general) is the fact that sooner or later, someone is going to give this guy a full time job as a developer...and then the gravy train of awesome kongregate games will end and we will have to pay for your games. Which I suspect we will. :D
Keep up the good work man!

Kasic's comment owns! Just have 4 blocks in the selection (sleeper/piercing/eye/booster) and leave the rest empty to not confuse yourself. Then just remember 21214 for the side towers and 21314 for the middle towers in this shape| || |. Always build the side towers first facing inwards to get the most out of your towers (as they wouldn't block each other). In survival whenever your blocks becomes cheese just remove all the blocks by pressing down and do 21214/21314. Just follow that and I got all 3 badges first try.

if you can freeze time why wouldn't you kill the demons instead of putting down magic blocks in order to kill those same demons

My winning set from the left column : 1) booster, booster, piercing facing right, cannon facing right, booster ; 2) eye ; 3) nothing ; 4) eye, sticky ; 5) nothing ; 6) eye, sticky ; 7) nothing ; 8) same as 1 but facing left. Works like a charm and strangely, only the eye/sticky blocks got cheesied/eaten. The other blocks never got touched even once.

This game is really fun,not to difficult. For me beating the survival mode was building four columns of blocks and using lots of dual blocks in them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this is a cool game but what if you could get gold souls you restart a mission cuz really one gold soul per one game that kinda duz suck
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
26 gold medals. Gold medal on Pride. I did a height 2 column in front, with a gap then a height 3 column, then another gap and a height 4 column behind that.

To get to the final boss (and save your daughter and get the achievement)
You must defeat all the other bosses.
Just for those who can't work it out themselves.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
On the non-Boss levels you can make a stack of grabber blocks on the rightmost side, skip a space and make another stack, etc. I call it the TSA defense.

a tip for those that want to beat wave 25. first set up 4 pierce blocks in front of the toys then place a attack booster at the top. do this again but put it in front of the monster portals and make it face the other blocks. then put one slow block and one invis block in the middle next to each other. then just save up your souls and whack away! if your towers get turned to cheese pause time and rebuild it. ALWAYS rebuild as soon as one turns to cheese. this method only works if there is no invis monsters in the beginning. by the end is not a lot of your towers were turned to cheese you should have around 250-300+ souls and that will let you hit around 30+ with a sword swing. i have tried this strategy a lot of times and it always works.

Oh, perfume block is the best block in game, to the fartherest left plane a row of them, a grab row to the right and in the middle 2 disestive blocks going any way you want... if in survival that is all you need :3
