For the hard badge, try using the Shark Gun, as it has a lot of ammo and clears the road instantly (so that you can maintain a high speed). Just keep a steady, not too fast flow of sharks chomping the ground between you and the edge of the screen, and be ready to make them chomp through a pile of crates! :D

The hard badge on nuclear outrun is actually kinda easy: you just use the shark gun and go trigger happy, about 7/10 times you'll loose at around 3500 from FINALLY being out of ammo assuming you can keep the speed of the truck fairly constant...for some reason the nuke gains ground when you slow down but you don't get it back when you speed up so maintaining a fairly constant speed is more important than maintaining a high average speed, sniper and gause work for similar distances if you're slightly less trigger happy. if you're using the gause save the spikes for regaining momentum asap (gause 1 shots barricades), if using the sniper or shark use it on barricades you can't go over without being slowed down to much.
Ps: ALWAYS use big front normal back, it works best for every truck at every engine power in almost every possible situation.

As I sit here and read the forums I see the infamous Nerdook crawl out of the forest and comment on other peoples comments, the creature is more afraid of us than we are of it. Yet it feeds our boredom with his games. He fears us yet grants us his gift. What a great little Nerdook he is.

great game, love it. id suggest going big back wheel, regular front wheel, with the assault rifle as soon as u upgrade it

Shark gun brings the hard badge, just point in front of your vehicle (really just at the front, not the right of the screen) and click if you see something coming, you have about 100 sharks, so try to use one every 25 meters. it was close but i made it to 2,804

medium badge (my guide): upgrade the first line to max -1 then start upgrade the second line (as weapon use the squishy thing). Pro tip: use the spiked wheels when you see the iron boxes approaching. With this tactic i got to escape with 10 trucks left.
Hard badge guide: 1) have all upgrades. 2) Use the remote control as weapon. 3) Again use spiked wheels with iron boxes or t-rex when you see the spikes incoming. 4) Pray for ammo baloons. 5) good luck and have fun like i had. 5/5 overall :)

Using the T-rex, I struggled to get the hard badge, my best was 2399ft. Switched to shark gun, and it has LOADS more ammo, and it kills more, and it actually works well against the iron walls. Very first time, got 2782ft.

Awesome game. Shark gun is by far the best due to high power and ammo. Got the hard achievement using it. Gauss gun was great, but has less ammo. Remote control tend to make you get stuck on boxes.

try using remote if you have it if your new try to get blade boomerang and gauss rifle is great but I really wish they were attached to dino for remote

great game but I hate it when it does wheelies beacause it keeps slowing you down. gauss rifle is grat best weapon in the game I bet shark launcher is really weird beacause its a small gun and fires sharks.

To get the atomic stop clocker badge select the shark gun with a large rear tire and medium front tire. Save your spikes for the straightaways to get max speed and distance. Use your sharks for the boxes and zombies. I love driving in a swarm of sharks. It looks cool too.

Back wheel normal front big and remote control = easy hard badge. This cyborg-dinosaur is awsome has unlimited ammo:), but need use to fly lower with minigun, and of course destroy boxes. And if some crisis sytuations use spike.

i got 2500m+ by using both front and rear LARGE wheels, only blast debris that will cause you to slow down, use spikes when you are on a straight-away and already going decently fast, and use the pulse-rifle to mow down steel-box pyramids.

I think you overpowered the Squid Launcher. I am slightly worried by the fact that I'd rather shoot squids at an infinite army of zombies than wield a robotic T-Rex with a laser gun and a rocket launcher.

Yeah, nerdook, I'm not sure if this is intentional, but the tires have pretty much no traction. At all. On one run I ran out of ammo and got stopped DEAD on a straight away by a two by four. Not cool.

Extra tips: Try to equip bigger wheels on your vehicle because i think bigger wheels would almost make it so much faster and smoother to drive and even easier to recover when you happen to flip over than when you use the small wheels. Having bigger wheels would also provide lesser "space" for the severed limbs and other small obstacles to stuck in, so you just wont bother to shoot underneath your vehicle if something get stuck under it. I actually had farther runs when i started to switch my wheels from medium wheels to large wheels. I just go for it until i actually barely made it to 2504 meters! so take note of having bigger wheels always

I loved playtesting this game, Nerdy. It's a really awesome, fun game. I remember when there wasn't even a nuke in the game yet; just you trying to outrun zombies. All this time, I've been learning little tips (some of which are now obsolete). Stuff like using reverse to correct yourself in manual drive and saving your spikes for the barriers. I've enjoyed this game a lot, and not that it's out on Kong, I'll continue enjoying it (though, of course, I'm keeping the .swf stored away as well.)

A fully upgraded monster truck defeated early in the game by a hill and an unfortunate banana placement :'( you'd think after shooting the banana it could get up the hill but once you're slowed down you're screwed. still this game is pretty addicting :)
