To those of you wondering, to increase your health between rounds, you have to get a higher combo for more health. You get combo points every time you hit a demon or save a child, and you lose all of them if you get hit at least once.

There is something wrong with the thundercracker achievement. I've hit a shadowdemon multiple times with a thundercracker, I've killed a shadowdemon multiple times with a thundercrack, and it's the only achievement still remaining.

I just wish the specials were stack able not use it or lose it. I want to be able to hoard them for the last shadow daemon or when I'm in a tight corner.

My strategy was to invest in spawn rate and health of my minions, and hide behind them so that they soak up bullets while I am at the shadowdemon. It worked pretty well for me.

Did anybody manage to get the last achievement? I have the in game leaf "Defeat all 15 shadowdemons", but the kongregate achievement "15 demons killed" still says "best so far: 14", although I have completed the game twice.

Generally, I focus on staying away from the demon while blasting it, but I prioritise reindeers. You will eventually get close to them and land hits if you don't deal with them first. They have lots of health, so take them down as soon as possible! Also, it is rather annoying that the final boss's main attack does over 70 damage. Just died to it when the boss was at 128 hp out of 2000.

hmmmmm it seems my snowballs poison and freeze... wouldn't ice eliminate poison oh wait flame so uhhh i shoot melted ice with poison that sets people on fire... only santa could do this

A good strategy to defeat the final boss is to HIDE YOURSELF behind the reindeer (of course it must have a good amount of HP)

I had to play through a lot to get enough upgrades to defeat the final boss. I ended up beating him with only 3 hp lef. Heck yes. I always love nerdook games.

I can't tell what skills I've maxed since if I try to level them past level 5 they'll just keep reappearing as options at level 5. Also black damage text is hard to read when there's swarms of black colored enemies and attacks.

Another great Nerdook game. I fought so hard my first life, then rejoiced when I saw I got to keep my upgrades. =P Hence, the fastest way to get the badges is to do the first three to five levels, get the upgrades, then pause, quit, and repeat.

I think I noticed a flaw in the game. As I was upgrading my Santa, I wound up getting the skills that show up initially in the first 4 rounds or so all maxed, so the screen said like 'Click anywhere or press space to continue.' And then when I got to a point where I could upgrade something else that I hadn't maxed, like upgrades for the reindeer or the elves or whatever, it wouldn't let me click the upgrade. In fact, when I went to pick one, it would just advance to the next level without applying the upgrade that I tried to choose. It's a game killing bug or whatever because I can't beat the Final demon thing at my current state and I can't upgrade anything, either. :(

Just a sligh glitch. Right near the end, on the final playthrough, it would let me pick upgrades. They would show up and I would click them and the next round it would be the same upgrades, with the same levels.

theres a glitch, i have 115 upgrades on him, and the last upgrade i have is to upgrade the brute elf, but when i try to click on it, it just dosn't give me it
