This is a copy of Brickles Plus with a pro Tesla/anti Edison sprinkle mixed in. Definitely a grinder and not particularly imaginative.

@archerbob: OK, so as someone said, it really is not explained properly at all, but once the little popup comes up and says something about being fully charged, etc., right-click your mouse, and your powerups will start working. Each time you're fully charged, right-click, and it will add another ball. I was finally able to access all five balls and it made the game nuts, but also a lot easier, and I was able to access a hell of a lot more coins.

It's so amusing when people vote a comment down, not based upon the actual comment, but because they merely dislike the commenter. So mature.

SPOILER PART 2 FOR BOSS, IGNORE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE ENDING SPOILED: Now that you have the defense down, you can store up energy to attack. You will see a blue square and yellow square behind Tesla. Once you've save up enough energy spawn a ball, and get that ONE ball to hit both squares, and then have Tesla eat it. Do this 3 times without letting any bricks past you and you win. As mentioned in my 1st of 4 posts this will take several hours to grind enough points to beat the game to get the hard badge, and my total points spend according to the upgrade screen was 48,504 when I finally won. However, with this you won't have to spend a few times reaching the end dying until you figure out how to beat the boss. :)

SPOILER PART 1 FOR BOSS, IGNORE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE ENDING SPOILED: This is for those who want to know why you need Shot Power +7, Charge Shot +4, and Charger +3. The boss you will fight is Tesla who has been turned into a human-spider hybrid. When he appears he will drain ALL your energy and then start eating your balls. You will need Charger +2 at a minimum for this part to regain your energy IF YOU ARE PERFECT, so really you need +3, preferably +4. Try to bounce your balls away from him to gain as much energy as you can from your Charger because after Tesla eats all your balls he will send a wave of 8 reinforced bricks with skulls toward you, and you will still die if the bricks get by you. The Shot Power +7 will defeat the bricks. You want to wait until Tesla spawns 3 of them, do one shot which should reach the bricks just as the 4th brick spawns, and dodge to the right. Repeat again for the last 4 bricks. This should mean you only have to do 2 shots per wave.

For those wanting to know how to REACH the boss, the trick is to grind efficiently by collecting coins which will appear very frequently between 64 waves left until the end. Just work on buying different upgrades each time you lose based on whatever you need most to continue progressing. As an example, the FIRST TIME I reached the END I had Num Balls +5, Num Shots +6, Ball Power +3 MAX, Shot Power +6, Over Charge +15, Charge Shot +5, and Charger +2. This will allow you to use the Over Charge shots to kill the skulls with a buffer room of 15 shots. You can then just get in a rhythm of clicking the mouse at a set pace and just focus on collecting the energy from your balls and collecting coins and you don't even have to worry about the skulls because your charge shots will kill them. I was getting around 4,000 points per run with this setup.

Here's a repeat of my post from the last time "Credits Where Credits Are Due Badge" was the BotD. For those playing this game to get the "Credits Where Credits Are Due Badge" BotD for Friday, April 16, 2021, it will take about 5 plays to reach 1,000 points. You get 10 points for each wave of bricks you defeat and 10 points for each coin you collect (why not just have each coin and wave give 1 point and just divide the price of upgrades by 10 I don't know.) Anyway, just get a total combination of 100 by passing waves or collecting coins to get the Easy badge for the BotD. For the Hard badge, be prepared to spend several hours. There is a boss after getting past all the waves. To BEAT the boss, you'll want at least a Shot Power +7, Charge Shot +4, and Charger +3. As for why, I won't post it here because I don't want to spoil the surprise. :)

To kill a skull, it must be hit with a charged shot. It's easy to visually distinguish, cause the charged one is blue (normal is yellow). Charged shots must be obtained from upgrades.

The games doesn't point it out very clearly - to enable the boosts (that you purcheased) you have to press "space". Obviously that works only when you have collected enough energy. This is shown by the energy bar on the right. There, the bar has "levels" that point out IF you have collected enough to received the boost.

2/5 because no matter how many balls you buy, you only ever get 1. I'd officially rate the game, but it says you have to have Unity plugin.

OK, so what's the point of trying to buy extra balls if you only ever get one on the board and the count goes from 1/4 to 1/5 but you still only get ONE ball???

Game was working, I ran a driver update. Now it wants me to use Firefox instead. So I guess don't update your drivers?

I hate games that change your camera direction depending on where your mouse is, so you almost always want to click one place but you end up clicking another and ruining the whole game. my best atempt was ruined that was because i was trying to shoot a brick, but instead of just going to the spot i moved to, i overshot and lose the whole game. 3/5 so much potential but ruined by a single aspect.

Agree that there's some balance issues and kind of slow start once you're on your 15+ round, but a really engaging and unusual take on break-out. I've never seen anything quite like this, it's pretty fun.

I feel like people often play boring grindy games for fake internet points rather than playing actually fun games. Don't force yourself to play games you don't like to play. Fake internet points are worthless. If you grind in a boring game for an hour, you might as well do something productive for an hour. It's probably equally boring, but you get something out of it.

1 problem is a default loss when a shield brick is very close, my ball got stuck inbetween the paddle and the shield brick and I couldn't shoot because I didn't have anything to shoot, I get that it would be op to rack up stuff to shoot in less than a second for a couple seconds but you end up losing anyways, it's a super rare scenario but still annoying and makes me kind of just want to stop playing after I get the BoTD

Haven't played a break out clone in a while. Not bad, for the first 10 min. Then it's just tedious. Well, *Would* be, if anyone could be arsed playing.

Quite addicting game. Yet, I will give only 3/5 because there is no keyboard control for moving the "platform". Also, the grinding becomes boring when you begin reaching the same wave but you can't go further so you need to farm (much) more money.

My best score was 4850 coins and it took me about 10 minutes. To get everything maxed out you need ~1,500,000 coins. So that takes a minimum of over 50 hours of non-stop grinding. For some games this could be nice but it is the exact same level over and over again.
This game is really hard to rate for me. The fist hour I would give it a 5/5 but now I think it deserves a 2/5. I will keep the 5/5 rating and pretend that I didnt play it for so long...

Grind got you down? Just start a new game, get a save code, and add 2,000,000; 2,000,128; and 128 to the last three numbers respectively, keeping the same word on the end.

The part with the spider should have it so you can't shoot out any more balls. I got confused the first time, and ended up wasting all my ammo on making more balls, only to have the spider eat them, and leaving me with nothing to destroy the hazards with.

Perfect game. After I got to ~50 waves personally, I got WILD game brakes on my potato computer. Even at the lowest graphics settings. It looks like I won't get the third achievement :c

I'm running this game on a Chromebook, and it's stopped recording my progress between sessions (i.e. if I close the game, it doesn't keep a save around). Is that a bug, or some fault of mine, or....?

Can I give this a zero? The game pushes me to watch ads in order to be less grindy, then, unfortunately, when I take down ad blocker, lags so badly the game is unplayable... and I do even worse than before. Worst medium badge on Kong thus far.
