It's like the 5th game since I started doing BotD every day, in which I have done the challenge already. BUT I NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME BEFORE!!!

For some reason the first badge has never worked for me on this game. It didn't work 5 years ago and it won't work now :(

easy strategy for day 4 on hard if when going for 3 stars. put out 3 imploders. save up for a 4th. fill out with nail gunners. use repulsor if close to lose a crew member. and in the final waves use beam too..

Scavengers:Something was Eating us. Therefore we should continue starting waves and bringing these monsters upon us. 'Cause how boring would it be if we didn't?

Even five years after publishing, this still remains one of the best games on all of Kongregate. The gameplay is wonderfully simple yet surprisingly intriguing. With more levels, story and strategic challenges this could totally become a hit on Steam, best comparable to "Infested Planet", which enjoys an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating. Hope you get around to do that someday, I'd love to buy it! :D

polished game, has all the little features it needs to work well
I few minor tweaks perhaps
enemies seem to move sideways when attacking at too wide an angle compared to your units cone of fire, so one enemy can destroy a whole line of your troops.
these outflanks seem too brutal esp against units with narrow fire cones.
Something to make the ship seem more important would add to the feel of the "survival" game, even if it was just a few crates and evidence of repair efforts
better still some evidence of non-soldiers that need defending
some variation in the battlefield would be nice, an obstacle or two maybe; otherwise you end up building more or less the same formation each round
an "infinity" mode would be an easy way to give the game more playtime
more story would be great as well, so much work went into the mechanics that the story could be capitalized better
great game to be sure

i was on the final day, and the final wave and i died so i watched the screen for a bit... Thousands(i'm pretty sure this isn't an exaggeration) of hunters and infected paraded into my ship... i'm not even gonna try this

Both fun and frustrating as hell. There needs to be a save or speed up feature so people don't have to go through the entire beginning of levels every try to get 3 stars.

we were engineers, not soldiers. fights an entire day, shooting 100+ times and never misses. i want this guy in my army. if XCOM had these guys, those sectoids would be toast.

One of the reasons I like this game so much is that it knows when to end. The developer knew the game's limited content (no upgrades, only 4 enemies and 1 map) and made the game into the appropriate length. The result is a short, fun game with an interesting setting; overall a great experience. The pacing and soundtrack were great and the brief narrative was very well written. I would love to see a sequel or another game in the same vein. 4.5/5

so there we had crashed... with our giant army all unequipped and we had to make own weapons out of our rescources. and whenever a new day arrived. yesterdays weapons and soldiers were gone even with out casualties last day.

Flamer: Sir, what if the Hunters start killing someone right next to me and i know im next? Mr. Sir: keep looking out into the desert and ignore it. :/

Place FlamTow's a little far from the other guys. At least if they fail you only lose 1 dude, and not 5 like I did once -_-
Also, these beasts love the flanks: place more one nailgunner and one flamer, and if possible a flare thrower on the two sides.
