This a lot like Atomica (popcap.com), but I love the graphics. One thing I'd add (which would bring the similarity to Atomica closer, but I think it's worth it, heh), is a preview of *where* the pieces will popup. Otherwise, gorgeous game, very well done.

Hm, I tested the game really thoroughly and could manage to build up to 200-300 lines or even more (which takes about 1 hour of gameplay) and a score up to 110.000 (see the mochiads version here: https://www.mochiads.com/community/games/ninamaya/undead-lines ) so I thought it was weighed out quite okay. BUT I made things a bit easier by adding a joker-stone every 10 lines and a path preview. This still should stay a hard challange and the game always ends if you can't move anymore.

another poster seems to be seeing the same thing i am. the board fills up too fast. perhaps reduce the amount needed to complete a set or reduce the amount of pieces added?

I've played a game similar to this before, and I have observed one problem, that is, the board fills up to quickly. You might try adding 2 blocks to the board per turn, or making there a special bonus you can get every 10 rounds (besides seeing the spider). If you can fix this, I'll raise my rating to a 5. 4/5.

This whole style of games is fundamentally flawed as the arrivial rate of new blocks is so much greater than your potential removal rate. Even 1 block added per move would be to high.

Long before the game finishes, it becomes unplayable. Once the board becomes crowded, shuffling the pieces becomes impossible and you just sit there and watch while it fills the board up by itself. You've created a spectator's game! One star.
