Perhaps I'm being a bit picky, but I believe that the way that the increase in collection radius is displayed is a bit misleading. You show the increase in radius, but what matters is the increase in area, which doesn't change linearly. For example, the increase from 121% to 128% in radius (+7% radius) actually results in a (1.28^2)/(1.21^2) - 1 or just under a +12% increase in volume. But perhaps I'm just being picky.

So here is my theory. The Bloons aren't attacking. Oh no, we're attacking them. I mean look at it, they are harmless to super monkey. But their death gives an invaluable resource. They are also selfless. The bigger bloons? All acting to defend the smaller ones even though it means death for many of them. We are slaughtering them, a peaceful society that looks out for one another... killed one dart at a time.

On the stage complete screen, could we possibly have a "level select" button.
Also, I too have experienced the restart issue.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
same, had a random restart, which prevented me from buying any upgrades. Completed a level, and it reset the amount of blops back to what I had before the level. The restart occurred on level 4 of world 2, I went afk for a good several hours or so (had other things to do), and when I got back on to continue through the level, it restarted, and prevented me from getting upgrades or using my blops in other ways.

I'd like to be able to lower the quality more then just "this is what the game comes at" I also believe that the upgrading takes waaaayy too long to do, I'd consider either upping the value of the money drops, dropping the price of the upgrades, or some combination of the two, otherwise it's just a relentless grind *I realize we can purchase stuff, but you shouldn't design punishing grinding into a game just so people will give you money* also- the laser whip doesn't feel like it hits consistently unless I whip the monkey around the screen.

come on, ninjakiwi. How many bloons games is that now? Aren't we due for a mmo edition? ;) if you need a suggestion, check out Tower Heroes (another beta game on the site) it's literally a TD MMO game. Quite fascinating.

I've been playing this for 20 minutes and have had an upgrade glitch on the boomerangs happen twice i.e. I buy it, the thing starts spinning as if loading, then it doesn't take my blops or give me the upgrade. I cannot touch the upgrade at that point since it thinks it's loading.

Okay, pretty much every time I lose on stage 2-5 it resets the game, losing all of the blips that I've picked up that stage.

I'm still having random game restarts. Also, I think P would be better than Esc for pausing the game and bringing up the shop.

ok, new player.
First the game randomly restarts, losing any upgrade your lucky enough to have bought
second after the first time it restarts, any attempt to purchase an upgrade opens the you need to buy the game money due to your lack of game money, even though it shows I have enough to buy an upgrade.
I'm sure there would be a third or fourth but I didn't waste my time to explore further. I may try again in a day or so, but right now its not worth playing

Good game, but the upgrade system makes the game way too long to enjoy. I understand wanting people to spend $ to play, but this is excessive.
Our goal was to make a power up system that allows people to get every single thing in the game without paying a cent. Since that requires grinding, there are 4 different challenge trophies and 6 different powers badges to earn while grinding, so lots of built in challenge. We also tried to be as over the top as we could with crazy bloon formations and hyper-powerful abilities, to make it visually cool and surprising, as well as keep the challenge factor high for hardcore players. Appreciate the feedback that those things didn't make the grind fun enough for some of you - we're happy to have the constructive criticism as we continue to strive for the best games possible.

Game restarted on me too. Lost all upgrades and progress restarted but my left over cash is still there (Starting at level 1 with $500)

Same issue as Samus2679, game randomly restarted to the main screen, yet i hear the game still going in the background.

You have no idea how much I appreciate that the character goes OVER the overlay in the bottom right hand corner rather than me being covered by it. Huge props for that.

Ugh... It starts out excellent, but by the third boss it's gotten to be super grindy. I'm talking MMO-level grindy (almost).
Yeah, I know, it's all about monetization, better ARPU, blah blah blah. You sold me on a permanent upgrade, but you're not selling me on a one-time blops purchase.
It's pretty clear that if I bought blops, all I'd get is the opportunity to grind a harder level. I'm going to find another game instead.

No offense to you guys who make the games, don;t get me wrong the games are great. But when are we ever going to see a game not for profit? Make a game for str8 up fun. None of this kreds deal.

Great game, but a few problems, lag is terrible when a momentous number of bloons are on the screen( i first saw this at 1-5 at the end), on the purchase of my third upgrade in any path i was booted back to the start screen with none of my upgrades in tact, otherwise great job and cant wait to see the full release :D

fun game, love the gameplay, and lots of depth with upgrades and research. sadly, all that is ruined with the game resetting and losing all those things youve already purchased. NOT WORTH PLAYING UNTIL THE RESETS ARE FIXED

It's also worth noting that the game can get VERY laggy... with the giant "cloud" of black bloons a bit into 2-2 being a prime instance.

I really hate how the transformation powerups are randomized instead of being based on the stage; you can get a spike minigun when all the bloons are lead, and you'll be able to do nothing until the powerup wears off.
Additionally, I hate how the game basically tells you you're going to need to replay levels (unless you buy the in-game currency, of course); I like a game I can play from start to finish in one go without having to redo things I've already done.

There should be a hotkey for opening the upgrades screen so we don't have to move to the top right and screw ourselves over if we want to upgrade mid-flight.
