Yay! Completed the hard badge...... jeez lv19 was kinda iffy with those dam shielded leads, but lv20 seems easier than lv19 dunno why lol. Imagine an impoppable badge of getting diamond on all 20 lvls with all types of gear, that be interesting, though people wouldn't really like it I reckon.

This game is at the same time far too grindy to be played actively (because who wants to replay the same level a gazillion times?) and too involved to be played idly (as in, you at least have to be there to start the level each time). It hits just the spot where it fails both as an active game and an idle game.

There's an issue with the money earned in game where you complete a round and your currency never goes up. There also appears to be a server issue where purchases fail to register. This is NOT the category of game that should have server issues!

i love how the laser whip weapon encourages you to just move your mouse left and right indefinitely until you beat the level

If I was being paranoid I'd say the money gain freeze bug hasn't been eliminate just to entice people to spend kreds on the game. But only if I was being paranoid.

hmmm... ppl say it's super grindy p2w, yet still able to be beaten in just a few hours. I think the main roadblock is the second boss. You pretty much need to get the maxed out missiles to beat it, but after that it's pretty straight forward.

Something isn't working properly - no income saved. Shows over 3700 at finish of stage, and goes down to 3428 once at result screen. Seen same long ago, when tried to continue too. Looks like save on server can't be updated...

Grind starts to hit like a truck around the water levels.
Easy grind method: Get gear that seeks out targets and level up the magnet research. Then put your monkey middle bottom area. ctrl+tab and go do something else for 10 minutes then replay. You'll get about 2k/run in the water levels.

Researches are expensive, but at least they disappears when you reload the game. Without them, you can't beat higher levels - so the game mechanic is: spend a lot of real money to let the game beatable. Or spend a lot of time replaying the lower levels again and again countless times.

funny, though i hate it, for a moment, the balloon popping rhythm reminded me of Hot for Teacher. almost made it worth the while.

Way to grindy to bother going further. It wouldn't be this bad if it was at least fun after the first 10 minutes, but after an hour....it's just not fun anymore.

If it helps any, the Boomer path with Tech core (Laser eyes) is the most effective set up. Explosions/Magic only take off one layer, darts are too clustered, tech is practically melee until later on. Boomers are swift, strong and get auto-targeting. Works like a charm.

Sees the BOTD, humm strange a game that I only did 1k of the 10k ballons for an easy badge ... why didnt I get it? *game finishes loading* OH CRAP, I remember this game! *Closes browser window*

This game is horrible. The devs were obviously just trying to get people to pay to win with this. Terrible choice for a BOYD.

One of those badges that need you to swallow your pride, lower your standards and shut off your brain. Got there, but can't say I enjoyed it.

So many things wrong with this game. As good as the other Bloon games are and as easy as these are to fix or avoid, Ninjakiwi must have made them on purpose to irritate people into spending to offset them. 1-I know when my character is free roaming like this, they will stop moving if my cursor is offscreen because it doesn't read the presence of the mouse, but you DO NOT make it so the game just keeps going with everything as fast and hectic as it is. 2-Sometimes the game won't save my progress; I'll spend dozens of minutes accumulating thousands of $, then I'll come back and little to none of it has been saved to pick up from. 3-Once you click a stage, you can go to the upgrade shop or store, but not back to the stage selection. 4-You have to get literally every Bloop to get Platinum. That expectation gets more impossible the later the stage. Even with research and best weapons at max, silver is the best one can hope to get with the toughness, formations, and speed of which Boons are.

Those bloons are really athletic! A stage progress bar would be nice, and the problem with grinding is already well established...

takes far, far, FAR too long to upgrade. it's just too expensive. been playing a while and still can't afford even the first special attack. lost interest.
