Much better than the original. Sure, I said that the original needed unlockables, but this has 8 towers to place, compared to the original's 5. This one not only introduced multiple maps (with each one having a specific difficulty), but it introduced, in no particular order, the Road Spikes, Monkey Glue, and Boomerang Thrower.

Now... I don't really know any monkey personally, and I guess they're pretty smart. But - wouldn't they rather work for bananas than money? Just curious.

Warning! There is a glitch that makes getting the last badge pretty much impossible. Copypasta this to keep it alive! You CANNOT fully upgrade your towers by using the mouse. You have to use the keyboard keys. Use the TAB button to select the upgrade and use ENTER to take it. WARNING: It will let you spend money on upgrades beyond the max using this trick. Cannon bigger explosion is a single upgrade extra levels do nothing. Neither the Boomerang or Super Monkey can go beyond their 1st level upgrades. And last but not least: Tacks can be upgraded all the way to HYPERSONIC. LAST WARNING: Hypersonic on the tack shooters is, imo, TOO fast. I personally feel it makes even hard WAY TOO EASY. Use at your own "risk". If you want a real challenge do it without hypersonic.

I'm pretty sure each upgrade is INTENDED to only be bought once, it's just poorly programmed so that you can buy them repeatedly if you buy it all at once. You can tell because your money can also go into the negatives when you tab over. The last badge is achievable without using the tab space glitch. I haven't done it though, because the tab space glitch is awesome.

Funny thing, not only does the key-upgrade-beyond-the-limit glitch work, it also doesn't check available money. So you can place the tack and upgrade it to hypersonic before round 1. You'll get into negative cash (the minus sign is not shown), just save for a cannon to deal with leads, and then a few more tacks and upgrade :)

I am halfway decent at most tower defense games. How am I getting owned on easy? I can't make any damn money. What's the trick?
