Here is my way to get hard badge (sorry for my bad english).
So, we start (the first track of course) with a spike o pult, put it at the left of the first turning set it the last target. (in this way the can hit the baloon who enter). After 2 waves put a dart monkey at the endo of the track.
after few ways put some tack shooter (i just used 2 of them till the 20th wave). so buy a cannon or use bombs for lead baloon and buy other two or more fully upgraded tack.
help with bombs if needed.
Save your gold and upgrade a super monkey, then a beacon, repeat!

OMG, that's rough! The trick to beating it on hard with no lives lost: Learn to use the pineapple! LOL, I use map 2 with 2 boomerang monkeys at the first gently curving portion, and tons of well placed Tack Shooters. I add 2 catapults at the long straight-away and a super monkey, as well as a few other things scattered here and there.
...then...use...pineapples... lots of them, lol. I use them at the starting point to weaken the bloons when they first show up, then put them a short distance ahead of anything dangerous like MOABs and ceramic bloons. Anything yellow and up, bomb it! LOL, it's still really hard though, so don't expect this comment to simply walk you through hard mode

Tips for last badge: Go to 1st corse, start with boomerang monkey, put it in the middle of the corse. use road spikes when necessary. when upgraded buy tack shooter. upgrade then but cannon and put it beside boomerang monkey upgrade then buy 3 more cannons fully upgrade them, try to spread them out. then buy a ice tower near the most cannons and fully upgrade. then save for super monkey. use pineapple bombs for m.o.a.bs give super monkey laser but not plasma then buy more cannons. and upgrading them. remember use road spikes.

A very good game, with a BUNCH of components to help spread more mayhem! 5/5. BTW The supermonkey is my dream!!! OMFG It shoots plasma vision like friking minigun! Plus you will get so much money, with the beacon thing, and the monkey storm caller, you can pretty much win any level so u can use monkey storm like so many times and win every time omg supermonkey is like the best thing eva get it and u rule the UNIVERSE!!! :D

yo i know to put monkeys or stuff in the route right click with a monkey or stuff and then left click on the route and there your monkey is on the route but the bloons can pass the monkey tough and other machines
