REALLY needs a "toggle quality" option! For those of us playing on clunkers, the frame-per-minute lag is prohibitive of anything remotely resembling gameplay.

This is (in my opinion) the best FREE tower defense game ever. it has the perfect balance of difficulty and originality. I love it. Great job. AND if you want a pause button you don't have to hold down, go to NinjaKiwi.com and play the expansion for Bloons 4. And no, i don't work for them. I just happened to play this game on their site before discovering kongregate. As far as badges being to hard, that goes against gaming. it is about enjoying these amazing, free games. Who cares if you get a badge. Yes, a medium badge takes a while with this game, but it isn't neccessarily difficult. just time consuming. hence, medium badge. but well worth it. One game tip: cannons. lots and lots of cannons.

Great Game! Although, Indianhottie is right about the speed up button. In the end, I just found something 2 put on the mouse lol

The badges for this game kinda unfair. It's not that the challenges are too hard to complete, or too long for such a small amount of points, it's the fact that with a tiny bit of money, you can get them all easily. It's completely unfair for those of us who don't want to spend/waste money on a game we probably won't be playing a month or two from now.

Really annoyed at loosing due to lag, not being able to buy towers while the later rounds are going on, and not being able to place spikes or glue during the rounds. Really annoying. You should have an option to change the quality to make the game run better on slower computers.

Here is a trick to avoind holding the button
Click the speed button,change to other window,and go back to game,but you cant remove the mouse above the button,but dont have to hold otherwise.

i cant belive it,this is one of the best games of 2010,meh the people dont have good critic,this is boring this is just sit i the chair, see the computer,put monkey i places and just watch how they pop them,how that is a fun game,this game is a waste of time

Still incredibly laggy. I made it to round 84 normal with no lag problems before. Then somehow I manage to get enough lag that prevents me from laying down the super monkies I want. So I cancel and go grab some tacks to take care of a few bloons that would kill me. What happens? I click tacks and they appear after the bloons passed... the cursor wasn't responsive for nearly 5 minutes after the level had ended and I was shown the result. Great TD. Fun, engaging. But the lag makes it pointless to play beyond a certain point.

{A SOLUTION TO THE **holding of the fast forward button** read on } I Love this game ..but i say it REALLY REALLY needs a speed up button u don't need to hold..... SOOO i have a SOLUTION to that problem EVERYONE is having.... all u have to do is 1) Simply press and hold the fast forward button 2) While hold the fast forward button press right click on your mouse ...( It is safe to move the mouse around as long as u don't click again) 3) U can click if u want to start the new wave just repeat the steps above ... WARNING -- Do not fast forward at level, 93 {medium} or above .. will crash game ( did for me ) just an FYI 3) Just sit back and relax w/o holding the fast forward button... ENJOY =D .. PLUS FOR EVERYONE TO SEE =D

for the hard badge, i dont have a step by step walktrough but in both maps, what works best is:putting some boomerangs, getting farms, upgrading farms,upgrading boomerangs, get mauler,arctic wind(maybe) and then super monkeys and upgrading them + this so everyone that plays can be somehow closer to the badge

Great, as always. Two things. The fast foward button is so annoying to hold, please make that a click on/off please NinjaKiwi. Other thing, there was a feature in BTD3 where you could choose which path of upgrade you want. Could you bring that back in the next one? It would be much better than just having to buy all the upgrades to get to one certain one.

what would be an awesome upgrade system is that you get the 2 upgrade choices like in btd 3 and when you max both of them you get to buy the final super upgrade. perhaps for the banana plantation you could get a bonus when you pop a balloon completely.

I just wish they would find a way to somehow link the games.. maybe in such a way that earning badges in the prev. games gives you unique upgrades not available any other way.
