The clustered level design and underground enemy movement that is never consistent (bounce to "wall" at angle, then comes straight from "wall"), makes the later stages too frustrating to be fun; and renders the score pointless.

Why are we making planets smaller and why is someone trying to prevent us making them smaller? Why cant we buy an adamantium drill or adamantium armor with all the gems we gather? Why isn't there a spaceship that brought us to the planet? why?!

Good graphics. Old concept. Cocoma Knight. Needs bombs flying out of the sky at you to force your move. Enemies should all be destroyable from certain weak spots. Give the drill guy a 'rage' meter to launch some kind of super earth eating weapon. Dunno.....suggestions. 3/5

Part 2 is already out, bur only at the Nitrome Homepage.
I'd like to see more Nitrome games on Kong (of course with badges!).

Okay, but the difficulty between levels is very uneven. One level will take a bunch of reties, and the next will take maybe one.

its a decent game but i was really annoyed by the fact that i took probably the majority of my hits from getting out of drilling and getting hit. Every time this happened it felt like when i got out of the drilling i couldnt do anything for a second and you are not invincible like when you start drilling. I get that this is probably to make the game harder but i found that it just took away fun from the gameplay. Interesting idea but the gameplay isnt great 3/5

"Don't believe in you, believe in the me that believes in you!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Your drill will pierce though the heavens!"
"I'm just going to...walk away now..."

@lucas: actually, it is proven by science that if you where to drill a whole in the earth from one point to the other, it would take EXACTLY 42 minutes, no matter where you dug it. The slow down from the angle and the lessening of distance cancel each other out, so it always works out perfectly.

I lol at how - even though this is a great (4/5) game. Nitrome have better games, this made the front page -all I'm saying is that others would be at the top.

Good game, took over a month to publish it on Kongregate, but I don't mind. There is actually a sequel on Nitrome.com too.

Don't you just LOVE how once you take a hit, you can't kill the enemy due to the invisibility, but yet the bombs still affect and damage you?

found a bug... levels have no numbers so hard to report... the level involved a giant grey square, a huge worm digger bot thing, and two red shells... killed both shells, was whittling down the square when the digger/worm fell out the bottom of the screen, at which point I could continue digging, but got no credit, and the screen no longer rotated after digging through.
