Oh, and the game lags immensely after beating the Floor 70 dragon boss, might want to reduce the particle effects on that one, nitrome ;-)

I really like how when you run out of ammo, you can still shoot with low damage, short range pellets so that you can still defend yourself. Well, you can SORT of defend yourself with it. Okay, you can ALMOST defend yourself, but at least it's not useless. FINE, IT MAKES A 22. POCKET PISTOL LOOK LIKE AN ANTI-TANK RIFLE. BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, IT MAKES YOUR ENEMIES SLIGHTLY UNCOMFORTABLE.

Finally just got too tired of it when I reached the challenge level with the spiked floor and the bird platforms. The game wants too much and gives too little... no upgrades, no special skills, nothing. I'll give it a pity 2/5 because it's Nitrome... but what a disappointment of a Nitrome game. Especially the 100th.

Woops, I kinda forgot to state my point; I'm saying the reason I wouldn't come back is b/c there's nothing that makes me want to. RPG-type elements are commonly the main thing that makes me want to return to a game, which is perhaps why I've never really felt terribly engaged by any nitrome game. Actually, was that one with the pirates and the bomb lobbing that I'm pretty sure the molotov is from a nitrome game? If so I actually rather liked that one, but aside from that...

Yeah, I've actually decided to rage quit after losing an 18x multiplier on floor 18 b/c ya'll apparently up and decided that molotov cocktails should do a pretty huge amount of damage back to the player if they get hit by one of the fire waves. See, the problem is that every indication thus far led me to believe friendly fire was impossible. I've gotten hit by my own nitrome explosions, my own penguin projectiles, all sorts of stuff, and none of them ever hurt me, why the hell would you just suddenly make a wep be capable of FF damage, let alone that much of it? Maybe I'll eventually calm down and come back...but probably not, as, like with all nitrome games, you guys obviously intentionally avoided any form of RPG-like elements. Idk if you've all noticed, but these days RPG elements and character progression are pretty darn popular. I'm quite sure you're all actively shooting yourselves in the foot by so avidly avoiding it.

The only thing that bothers me is the consistency of the levels. Some are extremely tedious while others take 20 seconds.9

kinda awful, the jumps are a bit too precise. this kind of game died out in the 80's for a reason. everyone hated them

You definitely need a gamepad for that - on a keyboard, patterns are much more difficult to make, so bosses are much harder than other levels. 2 out of 5.

You have the technology to make monsters that could be used for warfare and drop golden coins with a massive tower and high tech security and you use it.... TO MAKE GAMES? Not that I disagree with your decision, but why?
