Great. Not only does Kongregate shame us for using adblock, now Nitrome does too. Am I going to have to give up flash games completely and use a deck of cards? Because there is NO WAY I am watching ads.

I just died and pressed the submit button. It lead me to a room where I can't do anything but follow the link to your site. Maybe you could add a back to menu button there?

30 second addblock nagging? I would turn it off if it just showed the message without annoying me on purpose for 30 seconds. Stays on

try out these codes for some silly action:
NITROME: Changes the wooden blocks to Cuboy faces and makes the background pink.
HOTDOGS: Changes the gems to hot dogs.
POOMODE: Whenever the dog lets go of a surface, a poo is left behind and a fart sound is played. Note: If leaving a cloud block no poo or sound will be made.
REVERSE: Reverses the control scheme.
MUSCLES: Limits you to one life. Note: the score multiplier will be x1.
CHICKEN: Gives you five lives. Note: The score multiplier will give you x5 if you have 5 hearts.
DOGMEAT: All enemies move at double their normal speed.
GRANDPA: All enemies move at half their normal speed.
PRESENT: Dog Bones slowly randomly appear around the level, worth 50 points each.
FLIPPED: Flips the level upside-down, colours the wooden blocks light blue, and makes the background moving red, green blue, and purple stripes. Note: the gems are flipped and the saws are completely visible.

Psst, hey guys, try typing 'nitrome' into the password thing. Makes the level designs just a bit cooler. That's the only one I know of at the moment.

The controls are a little bit hard at first, but once you get used to them, it gets better. The much bigger annoyance to be is clicking randomly on the game to return focus, accidentally clicking Submit Score, and having no option to return to the game besides refreshing.

My only problem is that it really needs a dedicated retract button. I have yet to figure out with consistency what to press to retract and what will just make me move some more.

Well, the idea is certainly original, even if it does make me question what series of events lead to it and whether or not the authorities were involved. As for the game though, I liked it, but imo there are a few issues...Eh, really only one; player control. It's frustraingly hard to control movement w/ any accuracy. W/o a wall to stop on tight turns are tough to make. If you try to delicately tap keys for slight movement, and press just a bit too slowly, the dog retracts the entire way with nothing at all you can do. While I realize you prob didn't want us to be able to stop in mid air, at least put in a slow mo func. or w/e so we can make tight turns. There also needs to be an actual retract button. As in if you press a dir., the dog would keep going until you hit retract, then stop if you hit it again. Of course all of the above would be easier to implement if the dog just stopped moving when you stopped pressing rather than forcing you to continually press something...
