air power is the key to holding back the enemy just send torpedo bombers out all the time and helis (or fighters depending how far u are into the game) to kill enemy air units

Like someone said before, to win, you need to turtle until you've got everything max. Artillery is the key, use the cheap units, save $ (max it if u can) till you can send a few of the expensive units at the same time before reducing enemy to trigger the Flag ship. For Flag ships, send bombers & torpedo bombers, for airship, create loads of destroyer first.

It would be nice if I could designate targets for my ships.
For example: Kill the flag ship instead of killing the 3000 patrol boats next to it. Don't know about you, but that gets pretty annoying when I lose because the damn flagship killed my fleet while they killed all of the weaker ships.

why dont my cruisers and destroyers move as close to the enemy as the enemys move to mine, they need to be more agresive and get in close to save the base from being hit

great game 5/5. but with there were more weapons and ships. wish the game had more plane and sub selection, it would be nice to be able to upgrade units and decrease prices. simple graphics, nice gameplay, runs smooth, simple to play and learn, 5/5 10/10

Ok soooo stage 8...I was just about to win, had an aircraft carrier and a bunch of cruisers, destroyers, and subs. All of the sudden, the computer hits me with: an aircraft carrier, a battleship, 4 bombers, 2 atomic subs, a ton of torpedo bombers and helicopters, a few regular subs, a bunch of destroyers, cruisers, frigates, and some more crap. Oh, and they start with two mounted missile launchers and two anti aircraft turrets at their base.

I hate how once you actually get the enemy to half health, he just sends millions of ships and planes at you(no matter what time in the game). Not to mention 1-2 bombers which completly destroy your entire army even if you have anti-air by the shitload. Even if you wait it out and get all of the upgrades, turrents, money cap, and survive their first violent attack, you still have ship Ioaw to handle which just strolls it's way up to your base and you have nothing you can do to stop it.

to get 3 stars on lvl 1, try to shoot down the enemies base as fast as possible under 500points(but dont destroy it). you will get one big enemy wave at 1000hp and another one at 500hp. after killing those two waves just kill enemy ships until your score rate is 0.1. Don't forget to set max skill to your base health.

I agree that a holding back option would be nice, but improving their automatic behavior would be better. It's annoying that no ships venture past the shore when an enemy fleet (or just a plane!) is close to the base. Hey, I just built all of those to soak up damage instead of my base!

Very good game, addictive. I played for almost five hours. The graphism and the gameplay are simple. their is still two things to change :1.add some color and textures. 2.add achievements.Amazing game 5/5.Click [+] for achievements !

i got like 100 destroyers (prolly more like 50 or something) in the same spot and just annihilated the hindinburg with the shrapnel lol

how to hold your fleet back : let one random enemy aircraft go in and circle above ur base, build ship the ships will try to actk the aircraft and circle around in your base, build choppers to kill the enemy aircraft when u deem its enough :D

This is definitely one of the best rts flash games on the internet. But how were the flagships chosen? Why were the Hindenburg and Potemkin chosen to be flagships? Hindenburg was a commercial airship that caught fire and crashed and Potemkin is only historically important because her crew rebelled, which historians now view as the start of the lead-up to the Russian revolution in 1917.

Can't beat stage 8. IOWA comes out and just wrecks me. Like what poptropica39 said, when the flagship is out and at my base most of my ships stay in the base area, so it gets destroyed, instead of recklessly going out to get themselves slaughtered like they should.

There is something seriously wrong with these fighters. they dived into the ocean, and I expected them to explode, but they started attacking the submarines.
