This is definitely one of the best rts flash games on the internet. But how were the flagships chosen? Why were the Hindenburg and Potemkin chosen to be flagships? Hindenburg was a commercial airship that caught fire and crashed and Potemkin is only historically important because her crew rebelled, which historians now view as the start of the lead-up to the Russian revolution in 1917.

Sorta weird how most of the flagships are boats except for one, the Hindenburg, yet there are no submarine flagships. That would have been cool.

How to get more stars. First, get at least 1 star for every level. Skills: Repairman&Factory are junk, get them last. Raising Base-Max-Life directly increases score at end of level. In battle: buy a few levels of supply Line right away for income, then attack fast to get at least one hit on enemy island. This provokes more enemy units. Buy more Supply Line and Recycle, then get enemy island below 50% ASAP. This provokes a lot more enemy units. Try to kill flagship early if there is one. Then do *not* kill the enemy base. Keep fighting and gaining score until Score Rate hits zero, then kill enemy base. Levels 8&9 seem to be the easiest to 3-Star, then go for the first three levels.

I feel like this game is not well balanced. You destroy the enemy's base down to 400, and suddenly they bust out with an OP Flagship. I think the player should get a flagship too.

I agree that a holding back option would be nice, but improving their automatic behavior would be better. It's annoying that no ships venture past the shore when an enemy fleet (or just a plane!) is close to the base. Hey, I just built all of those to soak up damage instead of my base!

Damn, this game was excellent. There's something about that greyscale, silhouette art style, my shortlist of the best games I've ever played all have that style. Like Armed With Wings for instance.
Sort of easy. I never lost the same level twice, but wow was it enjoyable.

i was in the main menu, then i clicked away, 5 mins later i click back, and theres a thousand missiles and torpedoes everywhere.... the lag....

Like someone said before, to win, you need to turtle until you've got everything max. Artillery is the key, use the cheap units, save $ (max it if u can) till you can send a few of the expensive units at the same time before reducing enemy to trigger the Flag ship. For Flag ships, send bombers & torpedo bombers, for airship, create loads of destroyer first.

Great game. The ability to recall ship would be awesome, and the ability to call or recall air separate from surface separate from undersea would be way super awesomer.
