I was very unhappy with the difficulty of the final boss. Shouldn't he have been harder? Plus, no story for what happens at the end of the game. How does destroying the invaders help mankind?

Its a good game don't get me wrong, but it has some things missing. First of all, you can't spend your money if you go back to the map. This creates issues for people who like to replay levels for money. Then, what I think is the most important thing ever is missing! A pause button. I don't like feeling glued to the screen when I'm playing a browser game. Other than these I'd say 4/5.

a few things- the formula's right, needs more levels and maybe a survival mode, maybe with more difficulty settings. also, you can see miku's underpants when she does her special.

For anyone regarding the space bar not working: click once at the start of (or during) the level and after that it should work properly :)

Nice bullet hell game with amazing graphics and good humor. But the difficulty level falls with time so the last world was easiest for me, making me lose interest.

Pretty fun game, needs some balancing issues, the Mku "ship" is seemingly the most powerful, whereas ships like Peyote have no appeal at all (standing still, still able to take damage, and no control). Also the fact that you can go back to earlier levels to coin farm makes this game incredibly easy (2-1 you can get about 2-3k coins per run if you have maxed magnet). Perhaps reduce the coin count on levels that you've already completed to make it a bit more difficult (but differentiate between having levels completed and failing a level)?

The 5games website has been flagged to contain malware, I'm playing on firefox and running F-secure, if that is of any help.

So... the hit detection is REALLY annoying, especially in collecting coins. Too many power ups drop and they aren't very useful really. I like the idea, but the execution is rough. 2/5

Just thought you would like to know, 5games.com is pretty trojan/spyware laden, according to google safe browsing...just sayin

The game looks nice, but it leaves me feeling meh after about ten minutes playing. Coin collection is frustrating since the detection area to actually collect them is so small. While it's nice to not get smoked two seconds in to a screen full of bullets, it's also *not* fun when enemy shots only damage you if they somehow manage to actually get to your tiny hitbox. Solid game and nifty graphics otherwise.

Not only is Octocat overpowered but the Shield powerup combined with it's potential drop rate while I'm killing hundreds of enemies is the "Kirby mimicking the Lady of Pain while wearing the Mask" of defensive power-ups.

If you choose to play this game keep in mind, you won’t be upgrading more than 5 or so times (5 or so cheap upgrades) until late game. The upgrades for this game are thus are unneeded during early/mid game because you can get through this entire section without upgrading. Perhaps it would be wise for you, the programmer to increase the cash flow at earlier levels (so that people can upgrade during these levels). There are several flaws with this game the above is just one of them. Another was mentioned by Lobster, that an upgrade does essentially lower your overall survivability and damage output: Upgrading to tier three "bullet amount" causes you to downgrade your ship. So, to those who wish to upgrade their bullet amounts I would recommend having at least 2800 coins before doing so. The fact is the writer of this game obviously didn't put much thought into upgrades he just threw them in. So, my rating for this game would have to be a 2/5 because I like upgrades.

You forgot the Abandoned World (Apogee's and oldschool platformers of abandonware, world boss: Devan Shell from the Jazz Jackrabbit series)
