Very, very fun, after the game starts over with giant enemies it gets really incredibly hard. 10/5! It ate up to 6 hours per day playing this.

Making a difficult game is a road fraught with peril because when hard times ensue any imperfection in the controls or friendly AI or balance become incredibly frustrating. This is a fantastic game and truly roguelike in every sense. There are many many options and you won't be able to take more than a few at a time so you'll have to decide what seems like the best bet. And then you'll die... you'll die a lot. Somewhere along the way you'll figure out which weapons and skills and structures are a decent investment and which are less helpful and this is a long but rewarding process if you have the time and energy to invest (and if this sort of masochism appeals to you try to download NetHack - the epitome of roguelikes). However, extreme challenge is only fun if the game is nearly flawless (see: Ninja Gaiden), whereas the 'clicking-interrupts-reload' and 'arrows-clip-through-enemies' and 'helper's-fing-retarded-AI' crap just elicits screams about how damn unfair this game is.

This game rocks. Although its damned hard. Get more than 1 sister..been trying for days... how exactly? This game needs a walk through, although it is fun to discover things. :)

Here is what u do folks: get the badges 1st. Play with rogue and a bowgun w/ @ least 4 slots. Armor/Auto/Fire/Fire. 3 nobles w/ grav guns. After constant upgrades to the bowgun around day 400 u can drop a noble and hire a guardian w/ full attributes. With a bowgun spittn 15 rounds per second and rogue cashing in on crit kills, u can average 110k gold per day from that alone. Imon day 505. Its boring almost but I play all day while working to pass time. Hope that helps!!!Enjoy.

OK, two short notes
One, "fame" increases the number of people visiting your museum; therefore how much $ you get from robbing it.
Two, the Ragnarock item is designed for those players who have reached around level 80 or beyond and want a challenge. You need a really high level of cripple on a good shotgun with one or two gravity guns and a Grail of Jure to survive, but you go up about three levels a character almost guaranteed.

If you get a sword called a "ragnok", DO NOT use it at all. for some reason when you use it it summons like 50 steel dragons that fire their lazors at you and kill you instantly. I learned the hard way =/

Woot!!! 10 perfect days in a row =D @Marine11 Every character is as good as another, theres not really any better class, sure some get better then others the later the game goes on and sure some are better at starting the game but all in all, their pretty much the same, Just depends on how lucky you are at finding good guns ;D

For those complaining there is no sequel, I think you should know that Elona shooter is actually an expansion of another, much larger and more complex single player RPG. It may or may not EVER get a sequel because it's merely a way to unlock (in time) extra content in the "main" game. That game is called, for those who are interested, Elona Rpg and you could easily find it with a google search.

@Supercowz I did it and the round didn't end -.- I think if you use ragnorak you gotta have at least 3 holy grails or if the round wont end, a super strong party with a bounty hunter =\

Another reason for my success was using the sister bombs. I had the sisters at lvl 35 or so and they would do around 3000 dmg to everything around them when they explode.. yes 3000 dmg, they lvl up as the enemies lvl up (every 40 lvls). And with the skill love at lvl 10 you get 55 gold every time you blow up a sister which doesnt seem like much but it adds up (around 2000g per lvl). My sherriff with knockback and cripple shot and armor piercing was the last reason to my success as the stronger mobs were the only thing left standing after 2 gravity gun blasts. Well those were my reasons for success hope they help ya

This game became really easy around lvl 37 or so once I got going. Just takes a bit a strategy. I was a sheriff. I started by getting the first 5 slot combat shotgun I found and just upgrading it. I had a ranger with gravity gun: (almost every shot enrages your whole team) and a militia with gravity gun. My third was a guardian whos main purpose was to aid team (with 5 or so maxed team skills) the defended skill with lvl 10 sandbag made me almost invincible (73% chance to block all damage) that combined with all of my heros having lvl 3 leech mods made me get perfect games every time except for boss days.

Use Ragnarok right before wave ends (watch for night), to get achievement without having to kill all the dragons, but if you want super xp kill a few before wave is over and use holy grail to survive.

If you happen to pick up the artifact "Ragnarok", then get a holy grail of Jure (or 2), and a good weapon. If you can kill the dragons that spawn, you get a hell lotta exp (depending on your lv). I'd suggest using a laser pistol, gravity gun, or a piercing bowgun.

completed all medals and badges with a sheriff (hero) noble (gravity gun) militia (gravity gun) duelist (longbow) this is the best defense i have ever played :)
